Solid, Hefty Drill
My last Craftsman 1/2" Drill lasted 5 years and finally gave up the ghost. This new one is the perfect replacement, works quite well. The 1.5AH battery that came with it is sufficient. I decided to buy two more batteries of 3.5AH 20V for backup. The price was most competitive, and the package was in its original box. If bought for a Present, the gift receiver would be most pleased. I also added a two year warranty just in case.I would like to stress how important it is to keep the tool clean and dry. I keep mine in a tool bag inside my house. Thereby, there is very little chance for rust from cold and dampness accumulating, especially in the motor part.Another point is to put the batteries on the charger even 3 months or so and get them up to max capacity, if the drill is not used regularly.Lastly, the batteries and charger from the old drill were recycled to a used tool store since the batteries did not fit this drill. Nice to support our community stores..

Best drill ever.
Love this drill. Easy to use, sturdy, and well-constructed. The last drill I'll ever need!

Serious kick
This is just Craftman's standard cordless drill. I don't have any projects going on right now, but this drill has some serious kick to it. Definitely high quality and would recommend. Fairly quick charging speed.

Works great
Craftsman is a brand we purchase because they are a brand we trust to use quality materials that last a long time. This drill is no exception. Although it does it job well,it is light weight and easy to handle Like that my batteries are interchangeable so your job can go quickly without a recharge.Recommend to family and friends.

Love!
I love Craftsman! I only like to buy Craftsman because my grandpa always had craftsman tools. So wish I could have kept all his tools. Had a 19.2v drill for many years on the same battery and it finally died after all those years. Needed something new. This drill is great when you don't do hardcore use. Thanks Craftsman!

Update: second thoughts on this one.
Update: Plain screws and such it works ok. Putting up tin roofing and driving the roofing nails with the rubber inserts Just terrible! There is no extra umph! It just dies and leaves it just ok barely enough to seal properly. Little disappointed now. My old Porter cable 20V units still drives them hard and solid. I don't know if this is a lemon or what. Past return window. It's pretty and red just not enough drive to finish a job. And NO it's not the battery. Swapped out for a fully charged one and same thing. Now I just don't trust it to last.Have to admit I'm pleasantly surprised with this unit. My two others with the initials P and C have served me well for over 15 years. One is about to play out. Can't complain but, the cost to replace was a bit much. Decided to try the Craftman's. It's brand new and only used a few times. I'll have to torture test it this summer I guess. LOLSo far pleased with it.

Great Value
Great value for the price. I just need it for small jobs around the house. I even used it with a mason bit to drill into brick to hand a ring camera.
