I was sceptical of this unit as it is about 1/3 to 1/4th of the price of other Apple HomeKit products, I tried to give it a go anyway - for science - and test if it works.Good:I managed to get it on Homekit and can use it.Bad:Terrible setup process, downloading the app, all chinese on app store, pairing with the wifi of the plug, entering my wifi details into the app, only then being able to find on homekit and when adding getting a warning message:"This is not a certified HomeKit device, would you like to add it anyway"For easy setup and known security standards, I will go back to the x3 times more expensive plugs.

This product is absolutely awful! I’ve used Siri activated lightbulbs and they were so easy to connect, so I assumed this would be the same... nope! The instructions are just pictures which are not helpful, I then contacted the company who sent me very awfully explained instructions which are still not working! I wanted to send this back for a refund but then discovered it was from China (I should have checked beforehand but I did not which I will admit is my bad) so now I am stuck with this awful product because shipping would cost me a fortune! I’m normally good with technology but this thing is beyond me! I’m going to ask my sister if she can figure it out but it is most defiantly NOT easy! Oh and the app I was told to download... I searched it in the App Store and it wasn’t even in English!!

I just received a bunch of the sockets but could not get them to work. There is no manual included or explanation as to what’s the name of the app that you are supposed to download. It says that it works with Apple HomeKit but the device has no HomeKit code or anything that would you allow to set it up. Very disappointing, will return all sockets
