No instructions, actually no dimensions to facilitate installation. I had to make mock-up of my use to understand the sweep of movement and envelope of space required. It would be so simple and so cheap to provide mounting dimensions. Lack of dimensions is a big miss. I have not used this type of hinge, figuring it out before drilling holes was time consuming and unnecessary.

As noted by other reviewers, no instructions and if you're working on a lower level cabinet like I am, you feel like a car mechanic trying to keep this item straight and square and playing guessing games with how this will work. 1. I've broken and lost in both my cabinet and the door, several of my own wood screws because the drilled areas are too close to the areas you can't access. Too much friction against the screw. I'm using my own wood screws because I never trust pre-packaged cheap screws. The ones provided are pitifully short for such a heavy piece. Really? I'm a pretty experienced woodworker and i've never stripped so many good wood screws than working on this product. The undercarriage of my cabinet has machine gun style holes now trying to guess where this item hits for my door. Ridiculous and that makes me pretty mad because even though it's only me seeing this, when you spend a lot time on a good piece and a cheap product forces that kind of exploration...Instructions are key. 2. No instructions. For that alone I give it 1 star. If you're going to sell internationally, bring on the instructions or in the very least, pictures. 3. They seem really solid and they might be, however after installing one set there was some play in one of the brackets. For that reason, I'm returning and never getting a replacement.

Needed to add area next to my desk for working from home. East to install with minimal tools required. Would recommend drilling a pilot hole before attaching to hard wood shelf unit.

Used these to turn an old desk drawer into a keyboard tray. The hinges allow the front to stay up or fold down, which is exactly what I was looking for. Make sure to measure and mark holes with the shelf extended and with it at the angle because you need to leave enough space for the corner of the hinge when it's folded.
