Softens dry skin!
For me this aloe gel works great! I have very dry skin, and it started working right away to soften dry skin.

Great for Hair Styling, but Not for Dry Hands
We’ve been using Honeyskin Soothing Aloe Vera Gel for styling our hair, and it works really well. It provides a natural, light hold without leaving any sticky residue, and the fresh but subtle scent is a nice touch. While this gel is great for hair, I do miss Honeyskin’s aloe gel hand sanitizer, which really helped heal our dry, cracked hands. Unfortunately, this gel doesn’t work as effectively for that purpose, but for a hair product, it’s definitely a keeper.

Fantastic gel for burns!
I burned my thumb on a tin cookie sheet. It immediately was starting a blister. I put like a really large tbsp of it in a 3 oz Dixie cup Stuck my thumb in it for like 45 minutes. When I took it out my thumb had NO blister and the burn feeling was gone!! Was able to do dishes without it hurting. Would definitely recommend Honey Skin for burns and as a moisturizer I didn’t has any oiliness feeling. A little sticky but not bad.

Tiny amount for lots of money
This is pleasant stuff if you don't mind the gel-ish/sticky feel of aloe barbadensis, which I don't because coming from a line of green witches, that's how I know this has real aloe in it. My partner, 4 year old son (the texture bothered his sensory issues, but I think it would have helped if we had warmed it up a bit first), and I used this up in about a week. The squirt thingy is very short so you have to remove it when the bottle is still a 3th or 5th of the way full and just bang the heck out of it to get out the rest of the product. This was extremely frustrating because it is thicker than shampoo or lotion so we had to get something to scrape out every bit,, having spent so much money on it! This is unacceptable for a company turning such a profit.I can tell it is real aloe by the scent and the sticky feel. It is pleasant and I like it very much. I was hoping it would help with my scabies, as aloe straight from the plant did, but this didn't. I was hoping it would help with my eczema but it seems to have made it worse somehow. I wish I could buy another few bottles and see how it works long-term, but I'm not wealthy, so I'm going to stick with using grapeseed, sunflower, or canola oils with some added neem and lavender. I'm sad, I very much wanted to give this more of a try but the price is outrageous.

Holy hair magic Batman!
First, let me touch on the main intended purpose of the product, and then I will expound on the magic. As a skin moisturizer, this was unfortunately a fail for me. I bought this to use on my face, specifically to target under-eye circles. I cannot attest to the effectiveness of that purpose as, every time I used the product on my face, I suffered rash-like welts around my eyes. I have no allergies or sensitivity that I am aware of but something in this mixture negatively impacted the sensitive skin around my eyes.Next, I used the product on my legs after shaving. I habitually use a generic brand aloe gel for said purpose with wonderful results - smoother skin, no itching, burning and it stops the bleeding from any nicks. I am not a careful shaver, haha. However, I again experienced rash-like welts on my legs. The bottle sat on my caddy for a long time until I read that aloe can be beneficial to hair. I have long waist-length hair and, after moving into my home a year ago, I have been battling the effects of hard water. At one point, before I discovered vinegar rinse, my hair almost became dreadlocks! I digress - though I was able to repair and manage my hair it still remained slightly hard, dry, frizzy at the ends, and not particularly pretty. I began toying with the notion of "chopping it off." Last week, after reading that article, I grabbed this bottle. I figured even if nothing happened, it was just sitting there going to waste anyhow. After only 2 applications I woke up with soft, beautiful, flowing curls. Natural, straight out of bed! TV commercial curls! Here's the rub - I've never really had curls like this before... Oh, perhaps one side of my head would attempt a half-hearted ringlet whilst the other side was determined to impersonate a broomstick but nothing that could begin to reflect how beautiful my hair looks today.I'm not sure what witchcraft this is but I am beyond thrilled. I will happily use the rest of my bottle and purchase more!
