The gold part held up pretty well! My 5 year old always uses it and leaves water in the crevices of the pineapple stem and I thought it would rust up or peel within a week and nope. I had it for maybe a month or so and it is not broken, rusty, or peeled. Good quality!

All of the coordinated items on SKL Home by Saturday night are excellent and I am beyond pleased with every one. I could not begin to tell you how long I looked for a shower curtain for my (very small) "master bathroom". I sent back the first and second I bought as the printing was awful-- blurry, pixillated and so large as to be indistinguishable from anything less than 10 feet. The second and third I bought were better in that respect but I wasn't satisfied with the quality of the fabric. None of them were cloth but various grades of plastic material, suitable I suppose for a shower, but cheap and unattractive in both appearance and feel. So what for all the ones I didn't like This frustration went on for months until I happened to luck upon the SKL site.I loved the look of the gold pineapples on both the white and navy sets. I finally settled on the navy set because it was marginally cheaper but I would have been equally happy with either.The truth was I had my fingers crossed without a lot of confidence that this time I would get what I hoped for.When they all arrived I was very happy with the towels, which were thick and absorbent and well made. I just wish they made washcloths and a rug to match, as even with colors as standard as navy and white shades can deviate, but I'm sure I'll find both soon. It's just that after finding these my standards are higher!Now I'll get to the item I'm actually supposed to be reviewing-- the shower curtain. The best way to explain my reaction is to say that my first impulse was to forget about using it in the bathroom and wear it as a dress. That's how beautiful the fabric was and how good it felt against my skin! I'm really serious -- so much so that I'm thinking about buying it and the white one a second time to wear through the end of summer as sarongs.Can you imagine wearing an average shower curtain that way? Years ago I had a curtain like this in a rich paisley print. It was expensive then and I imagine it might cost a fortune today. This one cost me less than $20. Oh, and I forgot to mention that the gold pineapples were brightly gilded even though woven into the cloth instead of being painted on -- what a difference that makes in terms of quality and durability.I'll stop running on and just say if you're considering purchasing this product you can do it with total confidence that you will be getting more than you expected for less than you would have thought possible.I will check with this company for any other things I may need for the bathroom or any other area of the house. It's so great to find a company you can trust.P.S. I wrote this review because I was so impressed with the product. I hate it when companies offer you money for five star reviews. That's what's ruining the review process because you don't know what has been corrupted and who you can trust. My opinion is my own and it is not for sale!

Well worth the money. The picture does nothing for the real life dispenser. Took my breath away on how beautiful it is

The glass pineapple bottom is sturdy but the golden topper is cheap and the gold paint has rubbed off all the leaves in less than 6 months time. Not a bargain.

This is so beautiful and looks so fancy im my bathroom. However the plastic straw to bring up the soap does not touch the base so wastage of product. Pump was not pumping the soap until it was almost totally full... Its sooo pretty though worth it would recommend it

I bought 2 of these for hand wash and hand cream in my bathroom and they look stunning. Everyone comments on them. Would recommend them.

At first sight it's stunning, but having had it since December the top gold part is completely peeling and tarnished off so now it's just silver and white.Disappointed because it's expensive and if I had wanted silver I wouldn't have got this one. Got it mostly because of the GOLD.
