I’m amazed at how quickly these worked and disappointed no healthcare professional mentioned this (or probiotics for that matter) due to having to take antibiotics during labor and delivery. My baby was having diarrhea (watery poop is normal is what I was told, but my instincts said otherwise) that smelled pretty bad. He didn’t seem bothered at all, but still, the signs were there that he needed help despite the probiotics i was giving him. I ordered this when i read an article in Eco Parent specifically talking about this probiotic if your baby/ child had been exposed to antibiotics. Within a few days, his poops were more pasty, don’t smell like fermentation, and he isn’t straining to go. In fact, he went from red faced and grunting to poop, to now I don’t notice he’s gone until I smell it. It’s evident this stuff heals the gut beautifully and I’ll be ordering some even for myself.

Works well, sometimes TOO well. Whenever my baby is constipated I give him one of these in a bottle and it’s poop city for the rest of the day. Instant relief for his tummy and my worries. His pediatrician recommended these when he was on antibiotics.

I have had C diff and H pylori and a GI specialist recommended I take this. I got it for my toddler and husband as well. It definitely gave my baby a C diff poop but they evened out by the end of the day and it is just a sign that it works well and flushed that bad bacteria from your system. Toddler are it with no problem from yogurt.

I have a 3 year old who suffers from constipation so much so that his potty training had regressed and he was withholding and had to be put on Miralax. I was relaying my tales of woes to a mom at my son’s preschool and she recommended Florestor because it helped her son immensely when he was constipated. I ran it by my Pediatrician, he said fine can’t hurt. Well, it has been a lifesaver! He’s been taking 2 packets a day for 3 weeks now and he’s having regular bowel movements everyday and is now off the Miralax. He’s totally back on track with potty training! My ONLY complaint is that after it sits for a a few minutes, it gets a weird smell. I sprinkle a packet in his daily milk cup in the evening and we put it in his cereal or yogurt. We have to time it right because it can’t sit. Other than that, it has been a sanity saver and I highly recommend it if your child is suffering from constipation.

Our doctor recommend this after lots of loose stools from switching formula for our 10 month old. This helped put all the good bacteria back into her system and we saw results in 2 days. I am not just keeping her on this as it can't hurt. The flavored one (tuti-fruity) she did not like in her bottles so we mixed it in with purees, but the flavorless one is the one we prefer to use.

I was giving this to my baby under my pediatrician recommendation to help after prolonged antibiotic use. We had 2 back to back ER visits with acute/extreme vomiting. We couldn't pin point what was causing this as all testing came back normal. I stopped the probiotic for 3 weeks and he was fine. Reintroduced into his night time bottle and 3 hours later we were in the ER with acute/extreme vomiting and dehydration - he is 6 months old and was pale, limp and lethargic. PLEASE do your research before introducing this supplement to your baby. I will never be using again.
