5 lb. Pecan Meal

I was expecting ground pecans, but I did not expect tiny pieces of hard shells to be in with the nuts. I was very disappointed when I took a bite and immediately bit down on a hard shell piece. When I spend $40+ on pecan meal, I expect good a consumable product. I make toffee that is sprinkled with pecan meal on top. I have made it for years and never had pecan meal containing shells. I cannot sell or give it as a gifts with tiny shells that could cause someone a problem. Very Disappointed!

I use this pecan meal in my waffle recipe and for all kinds of baking. Love it!

An awful lot of ground shell in the meal - makes for unpleasant eating.
