FANTASTIC!
Ok, just installed these and was pleasantly surprised! 1st it was far easier then I thought and had no installation problems. 2nd when I got on my bike to ride, WOW WHAT A DIFFERENCE! No pain riding 0ver 350 miles. I am very pleased and worth every penny!Technical hint: I matched the screws with one inch and used rubber nylon 1/2 inch spacers (LOWES) to reattach the cover - worked great with no interference. Happy, Happy, Happy!

Really love these risers
Really love these risers, only issue I have is the listed install time. 20-30 minutes. I have a 2013 Goldwing with Nav/XM. the instructions are clear but they don't indicate you removing the dash. I had to remove the dash to remove the handlebar cover and not strip the screws. It was easy, just time consuming. I'm not sure if the people who put my bike together were just feeling extra strong that day, but it took me about 2 hours to get everything off and back together. Would buy again, and everything shipped/delivered quickly. It's just not a quick 20-30 minute job as indicated. Also I would suggest buying a socket Allen wrench kit. The angle and amount of space to work with on the bolts were difficult to get to with a normal Allen wrench.

not as indicated
They used the old information, the new ones do not move it as high or back as far as the old ones use to.

Great improvement
I have a 2003 Goldwing GL1800 and I'm 5'8" and was tired of having to reach for thehandle bars. I was getting pains in my lower back. I put these on and what a difference,so much easier to reach, pain is gone and can ride all day without any problems. Onlytook about 20 minutes to install.

Try them you'll like the results
Off the start WOW! they do make a big difference. When I bought my 2003 GL1800 a couple of years ago, I thought, this thing is a beast. It seemed harder to handle than my '81 wing which I could throw in and out of curves like nobody's business, but the GL1800 seemed awkward in the corners. I put this off as just not being use to it and over time it would get better. Well that really never happened, it felt like you where fighting it in the corners which I determined to be caused by having to reach out with your arm when you turned. I recently heard about these kits and decided to try it. It is a night and day difference. You are no longer feeling like your stretching your arms to there full extent as before and this in return has made slow tight turns a breeze. I handles Soooo much better. If you fell like your GL1800 is a like hard to turn in the corners, try these out. All in all, all I can say now is bring on the twisties!

Finally! one that works! I can sit upright!
I bought one of the less expensive riser kits and found it very lacking. This one even included two different slight riser adjustments (totally unnecessary) that would have accomplished the same thing as my old ones. The riser adjustment you buy this for actually moved the handlebars back, up and slightly closer together. I was concerned about the fact that the handlebars were slightly narrower than stock, but I don't miss it at all. I would prefer more rise but without making mods to the wiring, hydraulics, and cables from the handlebars, this is probably the max adjustment that can be made. I can't wait to make a long trip to see if my back and arms hold up better.

Kuryakyn Handlebar Risers, 05 Goldwing GL 1800
Easy to install, and I don't have streach to reach the bars any more. I like that the bars are now in the air foil zone behind the mirrors so in cold weather my hands are protected more from the wind. Had to leave off the plastic piece that covered the bars but the caps supplied make it look great.

I love these. Made my big bike ridable for this little guy.
I love these. Made my big bike ridable for this little guy.My short little alligator arms has been a problem every time I tried a big bike. These adjustable risers put the reins right where I need them to comfortably cruise or twist the bars around in the windy twistys.
