I have been using Simthread embroidery thread for almost a year. Love the colors and my Brother machines love it. I was excited when I saw the variegated threads. I knew I had to get them all to make some 1970s inspired snaptabs for an upcoming music trivia fundraiser my husband and myself do at our church. I stitched out all 28 colors and the only problem I had was one spool I could not find the end of the thread. I did cut a thread and threaded the machine. It stitched the middle of the peace sign before it got to the other end. I stopped machine and rethread the machine and it just continued in smoothly. I have opened and used 105 spools of thread and this has happened to me twice. Not too bad. There are some beautiful soft colors perfect for baby items to stitch or pretty florals. I am so happy I bought the full set and hope they continue with more colors! I have so many more projects to stitch for this fundraiser. Excited to see how the rest turn out. Don’t be afraid of the low cost. Great thread and great price. I actually stock up every now and then when I see the box on a lightning deal. I now have 5 boxes! That is how much I love the threads. Try the threads yourself! Hopefully your machine will love them too! Also check them out on Facebook! Oh, last minute comment, did not come with a color chart so will stitch out something for me to use when choosing colors! Regular sets do come with a color chart!

I was at my local embroidery dealer and noticed that the name brand I usually buy had just come out with threads of different color combinations in one spool. This was really cool and my mind started thinking how many projects would look great with multicolored threads. Since I had purchased from this manufacturer before I went on their Amazon page and found these colors for a fraction of the ones at the store. I absolutely love the colors and not only do they look great on embroidery items but I hemmed my granddaughter’s dress and she picked the colors she wanted and it looked great. Starting holiday projects and I can’t wait to use these threads to make them stand out.

These threads are perfect for my craft projects. Colors are true to picture, threads are nice and sturdy. Highly recommend!!

The thread is quite nice; doesn't leave a lot of lint (embroidery thread shouldn't), and the colors are nice too. I couldn't quite figure out what colors were incorporated into each spool, so when I tried it out I was somewhat surprised. Example....#132 just looks like red, yellow and some blue; but when you use it, other colors are hidden in there 😃. I minused one star, since the spools don't have any way to lock the thread once your done with it. I remedied that by using my box cutter and slicing into the bottom of the spool. 4/28-I updated the review to include a color chart with the thread number.

They are vivid and I love them. Stitches out beautiful! No beaks or shredding! It was smooth! Loved it!

They are great! I have made a bag using the brown and cream color to quilt it. It turned out great.

Reasonably priced. Use Simthread brand for embroidery all the time. Love the variegated threads.
