Leslie Dame Mission Multimedia DVD/CD Storage Cabinet with Sliding Glass Doors, Walnut

I ordered the MS-700w DVD/CD storage Cabinet for my son's DVD collection. It was packed very well and easy to assemble. It is a very nice piece of furniture. I ordered the walnut finish, which was a medium brown. The veneer on this cabinet appears to be oak (real wood) and is very nice. However, they should mention this in their information on the product. I was trying to match other furniture that was oak so the match was very good. If I was trying to match walnut furniture, then this would have been an issue. I will also mention that the backing of the cabinet is wood grained cardboard. It is not obvious since it is in the back and covered by the items on the shelves, but it would have been better if the back were also of the same quality as the sides. The price was reasonable and I am very happy with this cabinet.

The instructions and illustrations made the assembly go smoothly. The cabinet is sturdy and fulfills its function well. The design of the cabinet makes it a nice addition to the room decor. I am very pleased with the storage capacity and with how nice it looks.

I have 3 units like this plus some smaller matching ones on top. They accommodate my 3000 CD collection in style. Putting it together requires time, but is not really difficult. Once you adjust it properly, the doors slide very well. Good value for the money.

I really like the style of this cabinet with sliding doors although it is made out of particle board; it would be much nicer if it was real wood. A piece was broken in shipment but the seller company quickly sent out a replacement piece when I sent them a picture and description of the problem. Also, there is no bracing so the cabinet has a sort of give to the left and right when pushing against the side of it, which concerns me when it's filled with cd's. Another reason I really wish it was made from real wood.2022 Update: the walls are now warped and the cabinet shelves fall down on top of each other like dominos. I would definitely not purchase this cabinet again. The manufacturer does not answer the phone during business hours or return voicemail messages.

Sliding doors are a joke. They bind when opening and closing. Overall it's pretty nice.

We purchased this item to store our numerous CD collection. Had a metal holder that would not rotate any longer. This storage cabinet had many positive reviews, including the time and effort in assembling it. The cabinet was actually delivered earlier than expected. All of the parts were accounted for and in good shape. The diagram listing the parts and steps to assemble the cabinet were basically pictures without written instructions. Being a visual learner, I found it fairly easy to follow. Having bigger diagrams would have made it a bit easier to follow for those of us who are visually challenged. Altogether, it took about two hours to put together, with a little extra time tweaking the rollers on the bottom of the doors so that they would line up properly to stay closed. I am happy with the storage space and the quality of the material. I especially love the sliding doors which makes accessibility a breeze along with the use of space. It is a good product for the money. Would be great if there were more color options. I would have liked a lighter wood tone if that was an option. Would definitely recommend and purchase from this company again!

Was exactly as pictured, went together easily, held all the DVDS. The doors slide easily and the wood finish is very nice. The boxes are heavy and were very banged up when they arrived, but the double boxing and padding prevented damage to the unit. We built two of them and the are on either side of a book case and look great. These were well reviewed and I am glad I spent the extra money on them.

Using the Leslie Dame MS-700W Mission Multimedia DVD/CD Storage Cabinet with Sliding Glass Doors, Walnut to house all the hundreds of CDs that I have collected over the years. The packaging was great, noting including the glass for the doors was damaged, very impressive. Putting it together was very easy and took less than an hour. It looks great in my living room and I am thinking of getting another one for all of my DVDs.
