Liking flower flavored mints and candies is an, "either you like them, or you don't" thing. Having said that...I LOVE FLOWER FLAVORED MINTS AND CANDIES! I ordered these because a TikToker said they were terrible. They aren't! These mints have a lovely, strong, violet smell and are definitely mints! Your mouth feels freshened for quite some time after just one. I have been missing some of the candies I ate as a kid, and have been wanting some of the ones I didn't get a chance to try as a kid. If you like the old fashioned candies and mints, or are a conesieur of flower flavors, this is a good choice. I've already stashed the spares with my secret stash of clove gum!

Thought I was ordering peppermint! My bad. Not bad tasting if you like a flowery taste. Leave your breath fresh as a violet!

Very interesting taste. Very different. But nice. Give it about four stars. The five star rating is for its use as a sachet. Very pleasant and strong smell. My old wooden desk at work had charm buthe drawers had serious funk. Tried everything from hunter's soap to incense to febreeze. They all helped a bit. But these things did the trick still in a sealed package.

Violet candy sounds cringeworthy to modern sensibilities, but it was a popular flavor for breath mints a hundred years ago. I can see why. Yes, they taste like violets from your back yard, but they're almost indescribably delicious.

One of my favorite candies of all time, but they were not handled/packed properly because they all arrived as shown in the photo.
