It will do the job, if you need it
I bought these because I bought a nylon gas line kit for my old truck. When installed, it leaked where these fittings were installed, because the manufacturer used the wrong size barbs for the line, so I cut them off and ordered some new ones. And I will admit, it is a little tricky to install these into the nylon line, as its so stiff. I used a method I seen online, where you put some grease on the barbs of these fittings, then applied enough heat to the end of the nylon line with a heat gun, just enough to get it warmish, not real hot and loose, then hurry up and just push these in by hand, and it takes a little bit of force. No clamps or anything, it was advised to not use them, and they have been holding great on the pressured feed line in my truck, a 99 s10. No leaks at all.

Well made connector
I did not have to use this after I got it but I kept it for down the road in case I need it on my 98 Grand Am. It is made of good quality and better than the original by the looks of it. I recommend it after using other dorman products

Worked like a charm!
I had to replace my fuel lines, and this connector fit perfectly.

Direct fit and..... almost perfect
For reference, I replace this on my 1997 Ford F250HD. Had to replace stock Ford fuel line disconnect because...well....Ford fuel line. The barbs fit smoothly into the 5/16 line and it wouldn't come off (well, glad it wouldn't) but because I'm precaution, I threw on some hose clamps. The connection to the filter is snug. My only complaint is the white plastic portion will not come off the filter lip and I'd rather not break it off so I left it on. However, it does make it SUPER convenient to immediately remove the filter next time.

Great for fuel lines
I own a 2002 Chevy avalanche 1500 Z 71 four-wheel-drive and my fuel pump went well. I am a disabled electrical engineer but I’m still an engineer so I did the replacement myself and unfortunately the fuel pump is up and under the body on top of the fuel tank and you have to takeoff the straps usually have to maybe replace the straps or at least the bolts because they’re so rusted I even had to cut one off, anyway I used a 3/8 fuel line the extra thick rubber kind with the mesh inside of it but this stuff is flexible really flexible and you can take these connectors and they fit up into the middle which is 3/8 of the hose and I put two hose clamps want to be very Top of it and one kind of right next to it… these connectors are incredible. They push right over the intake or return portion of the fuel pump and get over that little bump there in your hair quick and there’s no leakage whatsoever from this product and they hold up and I ran them down and then used another one to sit in the other end of the fuel line and ran a piece out from my fuel filter that had another similar type of hose that comes on the fuel pump with the little round raised area and it fits right on and after a couple months of not being able to work on it to or whatever excuse I had my first turnover wouldn’t work I have a fuel pressure gauge I was getting improper fuel so all I can say is these connectors angry, and they have so far down the job I recommend highly recommend this

Perfect for Saturn l100 fuel RETURN to pump / tank (feed is 3/8)
This is perfect for a 2002 Saturn L100 fuel tank return from the fuel injector to the pump (fuel FEED to the injector / engine requires the larger 3/8 quick-connect). Also purchase Dorman's 3/8 quick connects, plus 3/8 nylon hose for the feed port on the pump.Bend the nylon fuel hose with a heat gun, put a spark-plug sized wire inside the hose to prevent kinking, and heat the hose just enough to bend it to the correct shape of the original hose. Heat the end and use a vice, a brake-line flaring tool & c-clamp to push the adapter into the hose.
