The Good Stuff
I am getting back to regular exercise after five years of sloth, and figured I could use a little boost with some protein powder. So I did some research, and figured that unflavored grass-fed isolate was the āwheyā to go (honk honk). I wanted a good deal, but I didnāt want to blow my money on a bucket of the stuff just to find out it tastes like salty buttcheeks. I was kind of sceptical of this product at first due to some reviews mentioning odor, rancidity, etc, especially since this āAmazon brandā is so low in price. My fears were assauged when I opened my jar and a light milky aroma rose up to greet my nose. It mixes well with almondmilk in a shaker bottle and imparts a creamy texture when properly mixed as well as a faint dairy flavor, which is no problem for me. I assume it will serve just as well in a fruit smoothie. Good buy, I say.

Favorite Whey from a Whey Snob
I'm obsessed with this protein powder. I hate stevia and it's so hard to find a flavored powder that isn't overpowered by the stevia aftertaste. This stuff is so good. Tastes like actual chocolate and NOT overly sweet. I mix it with iced coffee each morning, but it's also really good with just water or almond milk. It doesn't mix as quickly as some others, but does mix into a nice smooth texture after a couple minutes of shaking. This one has a more natural chocolate flavor than AboutTime, and is less sweet than the Amazon Elements brand whey (which is also really good if you want one that's a little sweeter).

Tasted good; would like more transparency about contents
I'm new to protein shakes, and so am testing out a few brands to see which one works best for me. Revly has a great price, and a surprisingly good taste. It's really chocolate-y, and very smooth, compared to other protein powders I've tried. It also combines well in the shaker, and I didn't get a lot of clumps. That being said, having done some more research on protein powders after buying Revly, I wish there was more information online about it. I couldn't find any third party testing of Revly, which makes me worried that what's inside does not reflect what's on the label, given the relatively low dairy-product testing standards in the States. The assurances that it come from grass-fed cows (etc) are ultimately less important than third-party testing for common contaminants and for actual protein content. As a result, moving forwards I'm only trying brands where I can find testing information online. While Revly tasted good, if I'm drinking something every day I want to be as certain as possible that it's also good for me.

review of the unflavored powder
I get indigestion from all protein powders and have never been able to figure out why. But this stuff doesn't affect my stomach at all. I put a scoop in a glass of 8oz of water, stir it vigorously for about 20 seconds with a butter knife, then chug it down. The key to it not clumping is the speedy chopping action of the knife. The taste is bland, neither good nor bad, which is totally fine with me. Then I eat some carbs and fats right after that, maybe a couple eggs plus some berries. I have not tried it straight (with no food) yet, and may try that down the road.

There's definitely a taste
UPDATE: so after using this for quite some time, I wouldn't buy again. For something with no taste, it sure does taste awful. Protein is going to have a taste no matter what, but this has a card-boardy taste. So I will update this review once I try it added to more things, but 10/10 do not add to light & fit yogurt and mix by hand lol. May taste better blended in, but it chunks up and gives an off putting taste to the yogurt for something unflavored š¬. But, not terribly awful.

Pricey but Overall an Excellent Product
Good:1. Taste is above average, not phenomenal but better than most2. Great nutrition compared to competition. Sweetened with stevia, not added sugars.3. Blends well with almost anything including coffee4. Easy on my gutBad:1. Pricey. Competition often offers 5lb tubs opposed to 4lb you get hereOverall I really like this product. It's one of few that doesn't irritate my digestive system. I'm pleased with it as a post workout and snacking substitute. Cost is my only gripe.

Fantastic Product
I can't say enough great things about this product. I used to be a faithful user of Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Vanilla Whey and the Amazon Whey is far superior. First, it uses whey isolates which is a much higher quality whey and given that I am lactose intolerant it is super gentle on my stomach. Second, the ingredient list is simple and short. I have become concerned with the other brands and how their long list of ingredients looks like a weird chemical list. Third, the flavor is really nice and not overly sweet. I have put this in my oatmeal, made fruit smoothies in the blender or just had a it in a cup with warm water. It really taste great. Fourth, this whey is grass fed and maybe I should have listed that near the top. I couldn't find any other grass fed whey at such a great price point, they all tend to me much more expensive. Fifth, I appreciate the transparency in the manufacturer that is being used, publically providing the test results for each batch of whey and also including a manufactured date by on the bottom. I like knowing how freshly created my whey is. So needless to say this has become my favorite whey and I will keep using it to build muscle for my crossfit class.

Something rancid
I had been buying Jarrow Unflavored Whey protein for years. They had bumped it up in price to the point that Amazon's new grass-fed whey protein was only somewhat more expensive, so I tried it. Unfortunately, the smell and flavor were so off I had to take Amazon up on their money-back guarantee. The Jarrow whey always had a mild dairy smell; this product smelled like some kind of industrial solvent. The search for a value-priced grass-fed whey protein continues ....
