This is the second Bentgo lunchbox I have purchased. I purchased this one because the older model does not include a compartment large enough for a full, uncut sandwich. This model is significantly wider than the slimmer version. It's still fine, but I do wish they would have made this one as thin as last one. I find the additional depth of this model a bit more bulky than necessary. That said, I would still purchase again because overall it's still smaller than most other bento style lunchbox options, and definitely smaller than a traditional children's lunchbox. Although I don't use it, the sandwich compartment comes with a removable partition in case you wish to further section off food. The compartments are very generous, and easy to pack any common lunch fair such as popcorn, pretzels, apple slices, cheese sticks, baby carrots, raising, full sized sandwich on wider artisan bread, etc. I love the fact that this lunchbox (just like the original model) does not need a carrying case. To wash, simply remove inner tray then wash and allow to dry. It's dishwasher safe, but I just hand wash mine because it's so convenient and washes up so fast and easy. Other than wishing this model was less deep, there are really no negatives to this purchase. The deeper compartments do allow you carry more generous portions of things like potato chips if desired - this may be more of a plus for older users since they eat more than primary school students. Again, it's not really an issue and I'd buy this over and again. I own plenty of other lunchboxes, but this is my go to for daily use!

I have tried so many different types of lunch boxes and containers for my son and have had problems with all of them. The biggest issue with most of them is that they don't keep food fresh long because they're not totally sealed, so, for example if I were to cut up apples and carrots the night before, put them in the lunchbox and put the lunchbox in the fridge, by morning everything would be brown and wilty. With this box I feel like I can prep lunch the night before and not worry about it! I put apples in one small compartment, carrots in the other, and use the main large compartment for his protein bar, snack size chips and a fun size kit kat or something like that. I also love that the Bentgo fits inside his Super Mario lunch bag PERFECTLY, and I can even throw a freezer thingy on top and put his juice or milk box on top of that and zip the whole thing up! No need for separate containers. It's VERY easy to open and close and seals very well. The BEST part about it is that you can just pull the food container out of the hinged part and throw it in the dishwasher or rinse it quickly in the sink between uses. It's very, very convenient. The box is high quality and well made and doesn't feel the least bit cheap. My son loves it and so do it! Thanks Bentgo! And yes, I paid full price for it!

We have about 10 different Bentgo items, and they are all outstanding. I really appreciate that they don't leak and are still easy for my child to open by herself. As well, the little insert cups make them even more customizable and are wonderful at home for snacks and side dishes. I do recommend the one with five compartments be used for preschool and kinder or picky eaters who need lots of choices. Bigger bodies need the containers with fewer compartments so they can have bigger portions. We have plastic and steel options, and we like them both. We also have the cute ice packs, the insulated carrying case, and the back pack. The items are all very well constructed. The backpack is very functional, and still looks new after being used every day since August. I'd love to see a slightly longer backpack for when she gets older so she can fit more standard folders in it. Not needing two bags is such a life saver when we are rushing out the door since we never forget her lunch anymore! Highly recommend this brand.

My 4 year old loves Bentgo products. With various color and print options to choose from he likes his lunch box along with its matching lunch bag and ice packs. It holds the perfect amount of food and compartments are just the right size and helps to pack variety of food/snacks without any leakage. easy to clean and easier for kids to open the box by themselves. The only reason for giving a 4 star rating is that the latches aren't durable and breaks easily. However Bentgo has got amazing customer service and are quick to respond and solve any issues we had with the bentgo products.

We bought this just under two years ago. I loved the idea and even though it was pricey, the reviews were great. It has lived up to the hype. The portions are better for adults, but we fill them only half full for our kids and it's fine. Everything is leak proof as far as we've used it for nearly 2 years, with the exception of the little removable divider that has no expectation of being leak proof as it's simply a little insert to split the large compartment in half. I saw some reviews that had mentions of mold growing in the rubber sealing parts and we made sure to promptly clean to avoid that although we weren't all that prompt more frequently than I want to admit. All that said we never had any mold or other issues. Most recently when I was hand washing the outer shell a small flaw in the hinge broke and I reached out to customer service to take advantage of the two-year warranty. The process was incredibly smooth, very easy and they responded on a weekend even. I sent photos and proof of purchase and a new one should arrive shortly. I have already bought one other to rotate with the replacement and am considering one or two more. I have bought other cheaper versions and they have all fallen apart more quickly and without any warranty. The quality is remarkable, definitely worth the money and their customer service just adds to the quality.

A marmita é bonita e grande . Mas achei que fosse chegar na caixa ,como um produto original. Mas não veio na caixa e sim num saco ,sem nenhuma proteção,nada mesmo. Não sei se isso aconteceu na alfândega ou se enviaram assim ,mas a marmita chegou "pelada" ,sem a caixa,folheto ,bem embalada ... Nada . Se eu quisesse presentear não poderia, experiência horrível,sorte que não quebrou no caminho ,mas teve pequenos arranhões.

Loved this box and bought two. We've had both a little over a year now, in constant use but only washed by hand and last week, the hinges of both boxes suddenly broke off. I don't think this is a coincidence, but the life expectancy of these boxes. It's a shame, as I was hoping for the price they'd last longer. Other than that, I was really happy with them, they keep the compartments separate and the clasps are easy to open for little child fingers. And great customer service: When we lost the separation bit of the big compartment, the company sent a free replacement. EDIT: After contacting the company, they immediately sent two replacements! Awesome customer service and awesome boxes. 5 stars!
