I don’t know how well it will hold up as I have it outside by the pool but I had a hard time reading the clock as the background colors are vivid and mostly dark so the black hands don’t show up well. I remedied the situation by spray painting the hands white.

Need to make sure that the batteries are pushed all the way tight. It did stop a couple of times and not being tight is what caused the problem. It is harder to see from across the room.

I’m a mental health counselor and the previous clock I had seemed so loud with the ticking so I search for a silent one. My room is decorated with sea turtles so this fit my theme great! I was over the room when I realized that it was silent and I would no longer be driven up the wall by ticking. The only con I have, and it’s not even a big one is that when hanging on the wall, it tilts. I would buy this again in a heartbeat
