Don't put them in washer!
Although the description says these are washable, when I did, somehow the raised flower imprint disappeared. Pretty baffling. I even washed them in a front load washer (no agitator) and did NOT dry them in a dryer. Very disappointing! Thought these were so cute, I even ordered them in a size up, won't be putting THEM in the washer.Update: new shoes on left, washed shoes on right.

not very wide
By daughter has somewhat wide feet and they are very puffy at the top. StrideRite wide shoes typically fit her well enough but these are pretty tight. I can barely get the strap to Velcro shut despite that they are longer than they need to be. Very disappointed in the shoes.

Not Wide
I only buy stride rite bc my daughter requires wide shoes and they are very hard to find. I bought a 12.5W and they were very narrow. And yes I checked the tag to make sure they sent the right ones. Not as wide as other in this same brand. Had to return :(

Runs small & narrow
Like many other people reviewing this shoe have said, it runs small and narrow. My 20 month old daughter does not have particularly chunky baby feet. I'd actually say, they seem a little narrow for baby feet, although she does wear an average width shoe. Normally she wears a 4.5. I got a size 5 so they'd fit all summer and honestly I think she may have already outgrown them even though we just got them about 2 months ago. Her other size 5 shoes are still a little big on her. Part of it may be the style. The open top makes her foot appear to be spilling out of the top of the shoe even though it doesn't seem to bother her. She doesn't get blisters. I never keep her in them very long, though.Maybe these work well for older toddlers and kids, but I'd skip them if you're shopping for a baby or young toddler.

Good solid school shoe
Great shoe for girls. My first grader says they are comfortable and she likes how easy they are to put on and take off. She wore them without socks and her feet got a bit stinky. So I washed them in my washer on delicate short cycle cold. The structure of the shoe held up fine but the finish of the outer material and inner sole material now looks very worn and the color on the toe caps has rubbed off. They dont look like they could withstand another wash, so socks have become mandatory.

Always great fit and quality shoes
Stride Rite shoes are a favorite of ours. My daughter has been wearing them for a few years. Love the Mary Jane’s as they can be worn with anything and come in half sizes.

Looks good - for indoor use only.
At first, I was pleased with the shoes - looks and fits great! However, after wearing these maybe a dozen or so times - to indoor functions, and only once to school where they would have gone to a playground to play- the shoes show signs of prolonged wear.. The blue color is peeling off the white outsole . The shoe itself is still study - just looks like white scuff marks one the outer edges. Have not washed it yet.
