So reflective and super water resistant. My only real problem is the fabric is super crap. The elastic with buckle that binds the cover to your pack is sewn in at the sides. Right were it is sewn in, the fabric just ripped right off the bat. Looks like it was cut the rip is so clean and long, all because its not made of a ripstop and the fabric is made of what appears to be cheap nylon. The quality of the fabric reminds me of the mcdonalds toys from my childhood. I may try to repair it though thats not likely possible.Next time i go looking for a pack cover ill order anything but salzmann i think.

The quality of this product is a bad JOKE! The very first time I pulled the draw string tight, the stitching tore out and the fabric ripped. Each and everytime I even touch the fabric; it tears. I am NOT exagerating at all. The overall quality of this product has been a huge disappointment. The reflective quality of the fabric functions like it is supposed to ( which is why I bought this thing in the first place ) But the over all quality of the item itself is so terrible!! Why don't I return it? Well, it does reflect light and even after all of the torn stiching and holes in the fabric, it still serves the purpose that I bought it for. If you want a quality product, dont get your hopes up. If you expect something that you just bought not to disintegrate in your hands at the slightest touch, you will be disappointed.

This is exactly what I was wanting! I live in an area that is hurricane prone so we have a backpack for our hurricane emergency kit. I wanted something that I could easily find in an emergency if we lost electricity and something that would be highly visible at night or during heavy rain in case we ever had to evacuate our home. This easily slipped onto the backpack that we already had and folds very easily when you want to pack it.The picture is the cover on our backpack in our windowless storage room with the door shut and lights off, so a completely dark room. With my camera flash off and just using the watch on my apple watch, you can definitely see it in the dark.I really would rate this a 4.5, but I rounded up. The -0.5 star is because there it can pop off the top and start to slide down the bag easily. We tried bucking the straps normally and criss-cross and this still can be a problem. But overall it serves its purpose!

This product has been great. Fits my backpack and helps keep water out just as advertised. Has really helped with visibility as well. Drivers are definitely seeing me on the road.This product will not fit a VERY large bookbag. It should fit most general sized book bags (Hurley is the one I use.) It does fit my fully loaded swiss gear backpack.I thought that the size of backpack it fits is something many people might want to know. When I bought this product that was the biggest concern of mine. But it fits my Hurley backpack and Swiss Gear backpack I used in college like I said. So long as you're not trying to use a hiking backpack I wouldn't be too worries. If you commute with a backpack, this is a great way to increase visibility while having a waterproof pack cover. I really love functional multipurpose products! I put this on even in fair weather, because it really increases my visibility with cars. I have actually noticed cars slowing down for me, because I have this giant caution sign on my back. It's great!I will even put this over my pack when I'm just walking around at night.

So I wanted a waterproof backpack for commuting, but those are silly expensive, so I decided I would try this since it also adds an additional margin of safety when riding. Safely, this has plenty. The colors are bright, the reflective panels are reflective. It very successfully turned my dark colored backpack into something that is much more visible. Since its basically just elastic with a couple of bands to go around the pack, it kinda fits. The top is somewhat iffy and comes off the pack since the straps of the pack are at the top with no gap for the elastic to hold on to. The elastic and straps have plenty of tension, so no problems with loss or flapping which is good.

It does everything that it's supposed to -- keeps everything dry, very reflective, even has a pocket on the outside of it. I use to clip a red bike light onto it, very useful. It does get dirty really easily and even after I wash it, the black grime that I'm assuming is from the bike chains/rear derailleur when I occasionally set it against it, just won't come off. Not a huge deal. Don't mind the dirty look lol as long as it works and it does :)

My rucksack is 30L and this cannot cover it when it slightly full.If I have my laptop in it the cover instantly slips off the top and risks damage.The attached image is the size of my rucksack for a standard commute with the cover on. Any degree of adjustment always reveals the top of my bag.

This truly is an amazing product. In these dark nights during winter, if you are cycling, you MUST make sure you are visible. There are some crazy drivers about, racing about desperate to get home, desperate to get to the shops - they don't always look where they are going nor care about cyclists. Please for your own protection, buy this product. I feel a lot safer when commuting on my bike, I have a bag with work stuff that I carry and on days it's raining, this product has kept everything dry, which has been an absolute god-send! Most backpacks have straps coming out of the top, this cover has an elastic edge all around which does not fit over the straps and pushes back down the bag slightly. Although I have not yet been caught in the rain, I don't think this would work.

Didn't seem to fit over my backpack properly. Didn't work at keep the backpack waterproof as it didn't stay in place over the top of the pack. There was no way to properly secure over the top of the backpack straps, ended up using string and putting a small hole in the cover to tie in place. Not impressed.

I put this in the passenger footwell of an unlit car with minimal streetlamps nearby, and it glowed like the sun.(This is the one that's totally made of 3M, with the triangles on).It's stupidly, overbearingly reflective, and that is exactly what I want to be when cycling.It's pretty flexible - fits my tiny 10l backback, would definitely fit much larger ones too. We bought a second one after being happy with the first.
