Don’t usually leave reviews but thought I’d share my experience.Fast delivery arrived when expected and tracking available throughout.The shell comes neatly packed with everything needed for the shell swap.The quality of the shell and buttons are. perfect, haven’t seen how it fairs up under prolonged use over time however. But they look and feel fantastic. I have the SNES themed ones.Although I didn’t use them so can’t comment on the quality, it’s always handy to have the spare screws and springs.Comes with a premium looking screwdriver which is nice as usually you get the tiny cheap plastic ones. Again I didn’t use the screw driver so can’t comment on it’s quality.As long as you know what you are doing the replacement is fairly straight forward although if you are in experienced with this kind of thing it will be very tricky. My advice if you are thinking of swapping your shell. But these but get some proper tools, watch a video tutorial and take your time.

A very high quality mod kit for your Nintendo Switch Joycons. The tools supplied are very high quality and the mod kit comes with spare screws and springs should you lose any in the process of modifying your joycons. During the installation you may find that a pair of tweezers and a plastic spudger will come in handy to ease the installation process. There are no instructions included with the kit but there are You Tube videos on the internet that will walk you through the process with hints and tips along the way. It will take time to install this modification but taking time will ensure a magnificent outcome. The quality of the mod casings and buttons are very high quality in build and the parts fit extremely well. The soft grip touch on the back of the joycon casings are a great feature to the joycon modification. Overall... 10 out of 10 for a mod kit. I cannot find any faults with the kit and the function it provides. I have to say I am very pleased with the kit being a highly critical person when it comes to quality and the spare screws and springs are much better quality than the Nintendo's OEM springs and screws. This kit can be fiddly at times due to the nature of the joycon itself, but if you watch a few videos on You Tube along with the advice given and taking your time, you will end up with a fantastic looking pair of joycons that all your friends and family will be jealous about.

Overall this was a really good product! The finally version looks great on my switch and has a nice feel to it. I was so intimidated after reading the reviews about installation difficult that I watched several tutorial videos before the shells even arrived. I think that because I was so prepared, it ended up being easier then I expected. I ordered my own toolkit after seeing review about how horrible the included screwdriver was, but the included screwdriver actually ended up being the supreme one. The Philips head screwdriver piece included was magnetic, which made it a lot easier to get the small screws in and out. Not sure if this is a standard change for the kit, or if the type of screwdriver varies with what they have in stock. One thing that’s not included that I would say is an absolute MUST to get for assembly is anti-static tweezers. There’s lot of small delicate parts where your hands just won’t cut it.Finally, even though I like the end product, the quality of the shells wasn’t quite what I expected after reading all the great reviews about the company. There was chucks of the design print that was accidentally transfers to the inside of the shell, and I had to scrape bit away to make sure it didn’t flake onto the inside pieces in the future, as well as to clear up a few screw holes. The left joycon shell had a few mistakes with how the holes were cut for the minus and screen capture button. The cutouts looked a bit ragged, and not the clean-cut looked you’d expect. It’s barely noticeable in the finished product, but I definitely didn’t expect it from a company with such glowing reviews. Maybe I just got a faulty product. These couple of issues are what lead me to knock of a star from my review, but overall I think the product is still the superior option on the market, and if you have the patience and dedication to installing it, you’ll find it completely possibly to end up with a wonderful final result.

To start off, this is not a very easy installation and you can 100% brick your joycons. Don't get these if you aren't ready to buy new cons because you have broken your first two. The manufacturer of these beautiful shells did an amazing job with the colour and finish. It's not their fault that you bricked the con's, it's yours! On to the review!They arrived very fast in post, only two days! They came with no instructions at all, I googled how to replace joycon shells and found the tut by IGN which for once they actually did an amazing job of. It wasn't so difficult to replace the shells as others have said in these reviews but it wasn't incredibly easy either. It took me just over a half hour to replace both shells and I had a blast doing so, I used only a pair of tweezers, a triscrew bit and a philips screw bit, thats all. The tri and philips screw bits were supplied in the package but I opted to use my own as they were better quality. (The backplate did not come with the joycon shells)Once I had replaced both cons and tested them, I could instantly feel the quality. I have no idea why Nintendo won't just release the switch in these different colours and designs, they look and feel so good. This brings a level of class and a classic look to my switch that very few have and it is very eye catching. If you are any bit savvy with tech then this will be fun and easy enough for you. I highly recommend getting these as the whole experience was great and I had extremely high hopes for these and they lived up to my expectations.

I love the print and soft touch texture on these shells. It is well worth the time it takes to swap. The purple buttons are from the same seller, the neon yellow are from a seller on eBay.

Got these for my little sister as a birthday gift, along with the clear light up buttons. She loves them!(I have no idea how to rate these on the "touch screen" and "sheerness" scales, but i will say i love the feel of the soft plastic, and kinda wished i got one of these shells instead of chrome blue. Only kinda.)

I have been eyeballing this company and their products since I got a switch during the pandemic. It came with two Joy-Cons that were nigh unusable because their drift was so incredibly bad that playing with them was impossible. This purchase was part of a 100% repair on said Joy-Cons, with a button and shell swap included. They're like new, they feel like new, and the shells are gorgeous. They're slightly matte, incredibly soft, and fit like a glove. I could not be happier to have Joy cons that not only work, but fit the aesthetic of my turn-of-the-century furniture. The tools they include are much better quality than the ones I received with the actual joycon replacement parts. It was worth the wait. This purchase was 3 years in the making, and I don't regret a second after seeing how pretty these things are.
