None of the papain and bromelain powders being sold at the time of this post are extracts. Stems and pieces leftover from fruit production are crushed and the juice is dried into a powder which is sold here. None of them are high purity extracts, which is good because high purity extracts might be dangerous.I have tried both papain and bromelain powders. Papain is full of plant latex which makes it hard to mix in liquids and tastes awful. Plant latex is also an allergen for some people and can cause dangerous allergic reactions. If you are curious search for "latex allergy food". Just something to bear in mind. Bromelain is wonderful. It mixes easily and doesn't really taste like anything. Bromelain is more expensive, but the only one I will be buying from now on.

This helps digest. but also cleanse your system.I add couple of table spoon in water this opens up a lot of blockage in the body.

I use it to crack the long chain molecules of beef gelatin (aqueous solution) so that it is reduced to its constituent amino acids. First prepare the gelatin solution by dissolving 1 Tbs gelatin granules in 1 cup boiling water. When it cools down to 120-130 degF, dissolve in just 1/8 tsp of this enzyme powder. By the time the solution has continued cooling to 90 degF, enzyme has done its work. The solution will not gel, and it is ready to be consumed for rapid absorption.My only complaint is that it is evidently not as pure as I would like. Contains some tiny white hairlike particles, which can be seen with the naked eye providing from the edges of a spoon.
