This is not a bad product overall. However, between the paper instructions and video, way overkill. One word of advice is this - when you pull it out of the water and after sitting for a moment, insert in mouth - form seal with lips and then suck in to really mold it to your gumline. The instructions speak more to pressing with your fingers, but that made it uneven. Had to order a new set since the first one is where I pressed with fingers and it went out of alignment. Second, I left too long in water and it melted together (LOL). So just ordered new set and looking forward to them.

This is a very thick guard, which is great for grinding. That said, it makes it difficult to get a good impression. It’s also pretty short—doesn’t cover my back molars and I have a normal sized female mouth.It does the job, but one of the two came out really uneven; so I only use the one, on top as recommended. It would also be nice if it came with a storage case when not in use. Hard to keep sanitary and dry between uses without it.

I should have returned this. My mouth is just so so small and it felt so so bulky. The instructions that came with it were great. They were so detailed. I tried hard to mold it with the smaller mouth instructions. I really like that this guy has a return period. Unfortunately I missed it. I can see these working well for someone.

The new thinner style doesn't work if you follow the instructions. First try, placed mouth guard in water after it boiled and the mouth guard curled up into a ball. Contacted seller and they advise letting the water cool longer before putting in water. They replaced the item at no charge. Worked perfectly.

Hard to form. Fit in mouth and comfortable, but only used for a few nights as it kept coming out in my sleep. Not the worse product I’ve used tho.

I had trouble with the first guard, and couldn’t get it to fit, even though I followed instructions as carefully as possible. I think possibly I overheated it on the first try, and it was so soft that it was very hard to manipulate. After reheating a couple of times it got a little better, but still would not easily stay in place, which concerned me about sleeping with it. Upon trying with the second guard I had better luck, and have been able to use it for about the past week with good success. It stays on the teeth and is not uncomfortable.The customer service is extremely good, and they are replacing the first guard that I couldn't get molded correctly, and they are also including a whitening gel at no cost. Very impressive and personalized responses to my emails. Would recommend giving this product and this company a try!

I was excited to try this type of mouth guard and get my teeth whitened too!Unfortunately it came in a non-tamper evident bag (zip lock sandwich baggy) and the teeth whitening stuff either had been stolen from it or was not included at all!I began by going to the long webpage listed on the zip lock baggy that it came in and then it wanted me to enter my email and name... Oh well... I guess I'll just follow the directions. Unfortunately they are rather hard to follow, sometime rambling on, so my first guard ended up destroyed.The second one came out a little better, but it didn't feel right and clearly wasn't formed right or maybe its not big enough, so I tried again, this time it began falling apart like the other reviewer had happen!!Bottom line this is a $0.10 piece of poorly formed plastic with some poorly translated papers in a sandwich bag. I sure hope I can get my money back!!

I have been buying a sports mouthpiece, cutting about 2 inches and forming it to my lower ft teeth because i have chipped teeth in my sleep starting in 2005. Its a miracle I've not choked on them. It was quite a conversation starter when I was in the hospital and the nurses were worried. Buying one thru the dentist was too expensive back then. Ive a lot of health issues so many things were put on the back burner. Im glad I found this product. I got it right on the first try prob because I've been doing something like this for a while.Be patient and practice first. Call for support if you run into trouble.

This is a GREAT product. Can be tricky to get fitted but worth the effort.Doesn't feel like a Harmonica stuck in your mouth...Pay close attention to the heating and get it in your mouth asap before it cools even a bit.WARNING: you 'll have to take it out to whistle...
