I got this today used it to remove 3 manifold bolts that broke offA great tool I didn't really expect it to workIm impressed and the price is great

I was sceptical but took a chance it would work and save me a headache with a snapped m12 bolt. It worked a treat and that bolt was seized solid. I had snapped the head off a few days earlier with a 2ft breaker bar but this got it out. Very impressed

The item is ok and once you get the hang of it is easy to use. As a lot of studs will be sheared or broken that need removal then this is not a good bit of kit unless you have plenty of clearance for the tool and plenty of exposure of the stud as it needs to be quite high (exposed) to grip the stud. Not recommended for a short stud removal

I needed to use this to extract an exhaust manifold studd on a classic car which were slightly worn out.. I thought this Stud extractor would get me out of trouble, unfortunately it just chewed and broke the stud (which is probably 40+ years old) . So i wouldn't use this again. I chucked this to the bottom of my toolbox - hoping never to use it again!
