The double C is high marks for clarity & concise handbook for anyone wanting to learn illustrating fashion poses, dos & donts of drawing the female form. Without a lot of words to read throughout you get the authors point backed illustrations of right and wrong, well written and illustrated. Get it if you want to come to speed quickly but also more importantly, correctly!

I really like all the info and tips written in the book about the fashion figure. I also like the fact that it includes a lot of different postures and it explains which posture works best for specific clothes. The only this is that, a true beginner needs to know where exactly should the shoulders, waist and hips be in proportion. There is no mention or drawing in the book with the figure cut in 8 (or 9 or 10) sections explaining exactly where the waistline or hipline should be. In this way how can a true beginner learn the length of each body part in proportion?
