Love the TV series! Love the book! I spent 43 years commuting on the London Underground & it was never this good. Printed on really good quality paper. And full of beautiful photographs of what can only be described as tunnels - some parts of London should stay hidden but not these.

Such an indepth account of the abandoned stations on the London Underground.. Rivetting read

Despite living in Birmingham I've had a life-long fascination with the London Underground, which I'm pretty sure stems back to seeing An American Werewolf in London for the first time on TV, and becoming slightly scared yet intrigued with the transport system beneath London's streets. I'm still equally as interested now, and find the whole story of it's construction fascinating. The story of the lost and hidden stations has also been a real interest of mine, and so I've had my eye on this book for a while. Now it's arrived it's certainly worth every penny.Concentrating on some of the stations have have either been lost or repurposed over time as the network expanded there are plenty of intriguing tales in here as to how and why they fell into disuse, and the lavish text is accompanied by loads of amazing photos and technical drawings etc. It's a big old book but I ploughed through it in a single day and I was so taken with it.For anyone slightly interested in the London Underground this is a fantastic book, highly recommend.

Very interesting book about the history of London underground. I has some historical photographs included in the book also. And it's has interesting information about London in WWII. Very good print quality and good hard bind book.

Very interesting book and one for those who love reading about Londons rail and underground history.

I bought this for my son who isn’t old enough to go on one of the actual walks.The quality of the book is great.Content wise, it is fascinating. I’m not a train person but have read this with him.A lot of history in the book and some world war things.

I brought it for my dads birthday and his very happy with it
