I received the Tiki lights quickly and was excited to use them. We needed to add a little ambient light to our yard. Taking them out I realized they were plastic! I may not of read the description of the item very well. The assembly was super easy. I decided to try one to see how they looked and if they did what I needed them to do. They are not very tall and after having them out for the day I realize why they are not taller. They fall over because its not a heavy duty plastic. We didn't have much wind at all and it didn't stay up. If you push it farther into the ground to help the sturdiness then they are even shorter. Aside from that we didn't have a lot of sun that day so they never charged up. I need something more durable and a little more reliable for light.

We actually ended up having to return two sets of these, unfortunately.PROS:- These looked beautiful in our yard.- Very cool design, easy to set up, and pretty darn convincing the way they flicker like real flame!- Absolutely gorgeous and cool looking and we got a lot of compliments on them those first weekends.CONS:- The leg part to support these are flimsy, so a few kept collapsing as soon as we set them up. My husband had to create alternate legs from PVC piping to support two of them when the original legs bent / broke.- We bought two sets, so eight lanterns, and from the start, two of the eight would not light up at dusk. If we held our hand over the sensor, they would turn once but the light to dark transition was never enough to auto-power on.- Eventually (within a few weeks) four more of them stopped lighting up in the evenings.We were saddened that they did not work for long, because like I said, these really look like authentic lanterns, so pretty around our pool along the fence. If the company comes out with a Version 2.0 with more reliable design, we would be willing to give them another try. We just loved the look!!Hope this helps some of you out there!

Previous order sent back after the second night of use as 1 of the 4 lights would no longer worked. Initially had some communication issues with their service providers due to problems occurring on both sides. Ended up purchasing two more sets of 4 lights since I enjoy them so much hoping they continue to work next week after my initial camping trip trying them out. Second order of two more sets (8 lights total) had a small package of parts missing from one set and their customer service more than made up for the inconvenience. Nice job of following up!

Update again: Seller is fabulous and they are sending me a replacement torch! I am very happy with their customer service.******************************************************************************************************************Update after less than 4 months - out of the 4, one already completely died and a couple of the other ones are working sporadically. I live in AZ so the sun shines bright 99% of the time. I wish I could get an exchange or a refund or something because I LOVE these torches.********************************************************These are exactly what I expected. They look so nice in the backyard around the pool. The only complaint I have is that the poles are a little flimsy but they seem to be holding up just fine. They really do look like an actual tiki flame.

We are trying to reach this seller because one of our torches won’t light and they have a lifetime guarantee. Hoping this review will help move the replacement process along. If communication was better I would give 5 stars all around!

These lights are awesome! They really look like you have fire in them! The remote control feature is KEY! You can adjust the brightness and whether or not they flicker. However they are not so bright that it obstructs our view of the lake (some lights are so bright you cannot see past them). PERFECT ambiance and NO hassle! And, they come on automatically at dusk! When we are in the boat on the lake and look up to our patio, it looks like we have REAL tiki torch fires! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

Looks really nice and is very bright!!I do have one that The on off button does not work I had to put a tie wrap on it to hold the button down in order for her to stay on.

Really pleased with these electronic tiki torches. They really look great, the flames "dance" just like a real tiki torch. They were easy to assemble and have worked flawlessly from the first night I had them up. The remote control works just fine, I can turn them on from inside my home at the back door, maybe about 25 feet away. I'm hoping the bulb lasts a long time, I've only had them for a little less than a month. Very happy with them so far!
