CAT Men’s Threshold Waterproof Steel Toe Work Boot

After a little over a year with a pair of Wolverine brand that just imploded, this have been fantastic so far. At the price point they're at, they're outstanding. I'd put these up against what Red Wings used to be. We'll see how they do after several more months, but so far they've been great. They honestly feel great and fit very, very well. I'll see how they are at 6 months and I might even get a second pair to keep out at the cabin.

Comfortable, true to size and not too heavy. Appear to be a great value for the money. Will update once they are broke in and worn a while.

It turns out I actually do like this boots. I wear them with the $20 Dr. Scholls inserts and they're comfortable enough. They're definitely well made and will last. I work 12 hour night ahifts at a metal forging shop, and my feet are typically sore by the end, but that's to be expected. My only complaint is they took like 6 weeks to break in, and my feet hurt like hell. I'm 210 lbs, so I didn't expect the break period to take so long.

No break-in period needed. Fit right out of the box with my Extra Wide Foot. Not good for walking on ice as I have fallen twice. Not waterproof, but my feet stay dry walking through small puddles. Good durability overall on leather and soles. I have bought over 12 pairs over 3 years.

First of all the quality is nice and they are very comfortable. The steel toe is great. Plenty of grip as expected. Definitely waterproof! I took my dog on a 1.5 mile walk in a rain storm. Outside boots were soaked, but inside my socks were warm and dry. Definitely recommend for work and everyday use.

These are the most comfortable steel toe work boot in the world! I’ve worn them every day for the last 14 months and I made a pair last an entire year. On my second pair now and I’ll never wear any other boot as long as these exist.

I bought these in December of 2023 cause I was tired of paying big bucks for my lace up Ariats that ran at 250 a pair and only lasted about 8 months. These were on sale about 40 percent off. I bought 2 pair and paid 65 for each pair and took a chance. I can say they are pr e tty comfortable. The leatger materials are pretty thin and the stitching is pretty thin and not that great. More than anything, they are not even close to being waterproof or water resistant. If water reaches the leather stictch area, your feet about to be wet. They are still holding up somewhat after 7 months, but takeninto consideration that I worked 4 months straight on a power plant outage. Even tho I rated them as a 3, for the price, I will probably buy them again. Another 2 pair so I can alternate them. These should last me till november during black Friday time when they will be in sale again. If they last me one year, than it'll be worth it cause I'll be spending a about half the price less than my previous Ariat boots.

Se nota de inmediato que las suelas son mucho más resistentes que las de todas las botas que he tenido antes, se siente muy robusta pero es bastante cómoda y es totalmente impermeable pues hasta las lengüetas detrás de los cordones están unidas por los lados para impedir que agua entre por ahí, así como son algunas botas para nieve.

Muy buen par de botas para trabajar y con excelente calidad!!!
