High quality and affordable. GREAT BASEBALL!
Great quality. Lots of life left on these balls after years of abuse. Just bought another dozen from Amazon. We've bought a bucket of Rawlings cheaper balls and a bucket of Champro balls. The Wilson 1010S is a far superior ball. The cover is more durable, no cuts after a year of abuse. The other 2 brands get cuts in their synthetic cover. The seams are raised on the Wilson balls to make for easier grip on fielding and pitching. The cover feels great in your hand also, not slick at all on wet days. The other 2 brands are smooth with no raised seams and slip right out of our hands when even slightly damp. The Rawlings and Champro balls have taken a beating from me during fielding practice and they have become lopsided and softened from me hitting to the kids. The Wilson have been hit just as hard but hold true and still fly as far as year after ago. They look better and could last a few more years to come. We are outside hitting and pitching 3-4 days a week from spring thru fall and have never had a tear, cut or even a loose seam from the Wilson brand. Can't say the same for the other 2 brands. They tear, soften and lose shape after a few hard hits... For about $4 a ball for either brand, the Wilson is far and away the better deal. These were marked as 'blemished' but they all looked pristine. Zero issues with them. The boys love hitting these because of the sound (and because they go farther!). They have a great sound off the bat compared to the dull thud of the other brands. Great product and we'll be buying more as we do tend to lose a few each year. (They don't do so well after being hit by a lawn mower. Just FYI) You can see in the pictures last year's ball next to this year's. The color has worn from use but still a great ball. The other 2 brands are just cheap covers and don't hold up...

These balls are great!
I wanted to get some for batting practice and so I researched to make sure that I got the right kind. There are cheaper kinds of balls that have a different core and don't react well to batting. They are an object to hit, but I wanted to get a ball that would give my sons as true a reaction as I could get. While these are "blemished", I have not been able to identify with my naked eye what the blemish could be. These do have the raised seams per high school baseball guidelines and so that is a noticeable difference. I figure, if the official high school balls are raised seams, then it makes sense to practice with raised seams. I'm just old fashioned that way. I ordered the balls and they arrived with no issues. They shipped well packed and individually bagged in a plastic bag inside the case. I don't really have any negatives for this product or ordering process. I needed baseballs and I got baseballs. The price was very competitive for what I was looking for and the brick and mortar stores did not carry this type of ball. Buying these balls reminds me of the time that went to Wrigley Field for the first time to see the Cubs play. I entered the historic ballpark and went to the food vendor to order my traditional baseball fare; large hot dog, large drink, and a water flavored snow-cone. After arguing with the vendor that they did have water flavored snow cones, I took my seat to watch the game. I might've passed out shortly after the second inning started (Can someone say Old Style?), so I missed the game. I think it's safe to say that the Cubs lost, though. When I woke up, the cleaning crew was standing over me taking pictures of me to share with their friends and family. That didn't really bother me. We had a good laugh and then the police handcuffed me and took me away. I asked them why I was being handcuffed and taken away and they told me that I was not in the right seat! You can imagine my embarrassment! I apologized profusely over and over again, but the law is the law. I couldn't agree more. The officers were just doing their job. I knew later that night in my jail cell that two years later, I would recall this crazy tale whilst writing a review about the baseballs that I bought on Amazon. I'm almost even sure that my horoscope that day said as much. Weird stuff!

Great practice ball for 10u
Great practice ball for 10u bp and fielding. Looks and feels nearly identical to the HS1’s but half the price. Obviously a softer core but seems and leather are holding up. Have not tried in a pitching machine yet but being a blem ball I don’t think they’ll have an issue. A handful of practices in and they are holding true to shape. Really impressed with the seems. I thought they would start tearing after 2 or 3 practices but they are still good to go.

Best practice balls out there just keep them dry! HIGHLY RECOMMEND to any coach from 9U and up!!!
These balls are phenomenal for practice! I had every brand and type you can name and these along with a tiny bit more expensive dozen of Diamonds purchased here as well are the best by far! However, DO NOT GET THEM WET!!! They swell but dry out well leaving a minor amount of extra weight! I've used them for BP and scrimmages from the 9U level all the way up to HS players and my players all gave great reviews on them! Other then the swelling that seems to have had little effect on the balls they are very durable and deliver every aspect of a great baseball any coach would look for! Well worth the price by far!!!

Relatively durable and budget friendly choice.
The A1010S (blem) baseball is a great choice for a durable and budget-friendly practice ball. Our team used to purchase whatever balls on sale. After switching to this model, we found it much more durable than the Rawlings and Champion balls we bought in a similar price range. The skin of the ball keeps the texture better than other leather. It does show wear after use, but it never breaks or splits like some Rawlings practice balls. We’re more likely to lose the ball in the bushes than see it fall apart. Overall, I highly recommend this model for team practice sessions.

Best value for the price
I just reviewed the Rawlings Little League baseballs and gave them a 5 star. I had only used Wilson's A1010 High School baseballs in practice with my kids, but the official Wilson High School balls are double the cost of these and the Rawlings Little League ones. I had been hesitant to buy these blems mainly because we have a whole bucket of those Rawlings practice baseballs that are warped and busting. The more I read into these balls, the more I realized these are quite a bit different than the Rawlings practice balls. It's my understanding (from Wilson), that these are similar in quality to the Wilson Official High School baseballs, but don't have any affiliation stamp on them and can have some imperfections. I bought this dozen, went to the field with my wife and kids and now believe these Wilson Blems are the best value for the price. The one major difference I feel between these and the Rawlings Little League baseballs is the ping/pop/jump in them. I'm not the best tester of these since the field we practice on is a Pony League field (250 down the lines, 280 in dead center) and while I'm older now, I have developed my swing back to similar strength it was in college. I beat the fence to death with the Rawlings balls, but these Wilsons go a good 30-40 feet more than the Rawlings. Not a big deal for me since I used to hit balls over 400 foot, but it's a huge confidence boost for our son. He's only been playing baseball for two years, picked up pitching like it was nothing, but has only been an average hitter at best. I can see both his eyes and confidence light up when he hits one of these Wilsons. We took him and our daughter to the local batting cages and I'm already seeing marked improvement in consistent contact. I'm guessing he's just becoming more confident in his ability to hit, but I would still bet the pop of these balls have helped him too. I still would recommend the Rawlings, but do think the Wilson's are the better ball, especially for hitting and pitching practice. The seams are good for working on different variations of junk pitches.
