HALO5-inch and 6-inch LED Retrofit Baffle Downlight, 3000K Soft White Recessed Lighting

I don't know how long these lights are supposed to last but I installed them about 6 months ago and they are still going strong. They were easy to install add a lot of light to my kitchen. Highly recommend.

replaced the same lights with these - they are easy to install and have the soft white normal light I'm used to .

I love the light that this unit produces, it is nice and bright and is evenly distributed throughout the bath leaving no dark corners.The reason I took a star off is that the installation is not as easy as the instructions intimate. On the 5-inch cans you have to not only adjust the spreader bars to the minimum positions but you'll have to bend the springs inward so that you can have them enter the can. It will fit, but it won't look like it.

I purchased the 6 pack of these lights and they are perfect. BTW, I don’t write many reviews but these are so nice that I wanted to recommend them. Kudos to Halo for the design and manufacturing of the lights. Received them in one day. And took me 15 minutes to install all six of the lights. Nice brightness also.

Product arrived on time. Directions were easy to understand & installation was easy. Took a few minutes to get the snaps right but once done the light sat flush to the ceiling & securely.I would purchase again.

I like that the housings are plastic as I live in FL where everything rusts. I had 7 of these lights installed in under 20 minutes and they look great. I hope they last a long time.

I was looking for replacement for my old shower tub ceiling light as the cover was broken due to its age. I went to the local hardware store and they tried to up sell me with a full dismantling of the existing light fixing and the casing. Friends told me that there was some kind of LED light replacement but I could not find it in the hardware stores either. Until, I came across one from Amazon. It simply replaces the E26 light bulb with a connector and voila everything works, saving me tons of hassle, money, stress and inconveniences.

It took a long time to find pot lights to fit the specifications we wanted. These are awesome! Very bright and easy to install

The 30 year old metal trim pieces had become very corroded so I was hoping to be able to replace them. Found these and it solved 2 problems at once giving me new plastic trim pieces that fit with spring clamps and the LED lights are powered by screwing into the existing socket. Super easy and they look good.

Lights are an easy beginner-DIY project. They seal nicely against the ceiling with the foam gasket included, preventing hot/cold air leakage. Works fine with dimmer switch, no flickering going on. Didn’t get a “5” because the gaskets are a dark grey, leaving the impression of a gap /shadow between light bezel and ceiling surface. A simple white coloured gasket would solve the issue.

Theses lights are so easy to install. Less than 1 minute per light and then look amazing!
