I'd never seen these before until last week; my daughter's boyfriend had a similar one lying on the table. What a neat little gadget! These are so versatile, and PERFECT for autistic kids. My grandson loves it, he uses it all over. His head, face, neck, his arms, his back, inside his mouth-yeah I shut that down real quick. And he loves it even more when I use it to scratch his back. Dogs and cats? At first they were like what the heck is that....then they fell in love with it within seconds. Perfect also if you have shoulder issues and can't reach your back to scratch easily (I've been using my scissors). It's a gentle scratch, and it works. It's perfect directly on skin, through a tshirt, was still ok with a tshirt and flannel on as well.I almost didn't get this one with some of the reviews saying when they opened it to full length, it was flimsy and what not. Granted, I haven't tested every one in the pack, but so far 4 out of the 6 have been 100% fine. They don't feel flimsy at all, quite the opposite. I don't know the inches it opens up to, but it opens up pretty long. And, this 6 pack was cheaper than other options I saw, and they all look the same. They are made of metal, aluminum or stainless steel, not sure and they're lightweight. Great gift idea as well as keeping them stashed around in various places as needed-like reading glasses.

Surprisingly sturdy. Great extension. Product works very well and doesn't damage skin like bamboo ones can.

Good back scratcher but break easily at some of the joints. I guess that's why they sell it in bulk.

I like that there were several different colors in the package. So everybody got one in their color. I use them as stocking stuffers this year. Even the dog got one! I like that you can extend them to whatever length you need. The pole part works really well. But sometimes when I go to scratch my back, the scratcher part has turned itself around. That's a little odd.I don't know that the average person would need this item to be portable, but it certainly could be.

These are so handy. I keep one in a side table in each of the bedrooms. I also keep one in my to-go travel bag. Small enough to go anywhere but sturdy enough to withstand "rough" handling. They telescope to any length needed and hold their shape. I gave these to a few of my younger grandkids who struggle with the longer wooden/bamboo ones that break easily. I bought my first backscratcher at a local pharmacy many years ago and the grands were always borrowing it instead of using the longer wooden ones. I has happy to find a multi pack for a very reasonable price.

Works as expected nice and sturdy

At first glance they look really small but they do extend and are very effective back scratchers. They are very easy to carry in a purse or in your card because of the light weight and being collapsible. The design is well thought out and these were a great purchase. Great value!

I knew, the materials were probably not the best quality. But for the price, I thought I'd try them.They failed as backscratchers. BUT, my son suggested I use these to pull things to me. They extend to nearly a yard (a bit hard initially to extend them as they need a bit of DW40. I have grippers, but I still spend more time breaking & dropping things than getting them into my hands. Surprisingly, my son grabbed one of these, extended it & used it to pull something closer on a shelf...and they work great. Also for getting smaller things off the floor (including pills!).While the are not the sturdiest despite being made of metal, it is a very bendable. Unfortunately, I couldn't get them to bend or my arm to contort to where they could scratch that itch. I probably wouldn't buy them as a back scratcher. BUT, they are an awesome aid for pulling smaller things that my grippers just con't accomplish. Especially a kleenex or pill that rolls under the bed~
