I f You like crushed pepper on pasta, etc. and are tired of paying good money for mostly seeds, buy these ! I just tried some for the first time and I am greatly pleased with the product. Finely chopped, no seeds, just hot enough, and great tasting. Also the biggest container of dried crushed pepper I've ever seen. The 12 ounce container should last Me a long time.

This product states that there's hardly any seeds in it and while there's only a few large seeds that I can pick out there's also a trillion little seeds all over I have diverticulosis I can't eat anything with seeds or I wind up in the ER nd hospitalized for a week therefore I can't eat any of this product why didn't the website tell me non returnable I'm very disappointed ☹

I posted a question asking if the container arrived sealed in any way for other customers. I asked because mine arrived with absolutely no seal... On the outside or inside of the lid. Unfortunately, it wasn't sent in a box. It was in a bubble type envelope and arrived crushed. Then upon further inspection I realized that it had no safety seal whatsoever. I've ordered this same product before and absolutely love it. Great flavor in my soups, pasta, pizza, ground beef, etc. Love it. But i don't love my last experience. Don't even like it. Amazon rep said i couldn't return the item and that they could not send a replacement. They issued a refund and said I'd have to place the order again. Not sure I want to chance it. Wish there was a way to contact the company more directly. Thank you all who responded. One even attached a short video... Thanks!! Hopefully the company reads these and addresses the problem. Too bad, but I'm tossing it in the trash. I can deal with a crushed container. But...No safety seal, no way I'm chancing eating this stuff.

Even if you only have one ingredient YOU ARE REQUIRED UNDER FEDERAL LAW to put your ingredients on the label.This taste and looks like crushed red pepper but without listing the ingredients on the label it could be rat feces for all we know.That's why listing the ingredients on the actual label is required by law.Taste fine but removed 2 stars for the ingredients not being on the label.Next time I order this and the ingredients aren't on the label I will only give it one star.I don't care if the manufacturer tell me it's just crushed red pepper, if they aren't willing to put that on the label then they don't deserve a good rating.I really wanted to give this 5 stars but it would be dishonest for me to give a 5 star rating for a food product that doesn't put its ingredients on the label. That would be rewarding an irresponsible manufacturer for violating US FDA federal regulations.

I am a pepper head and these do not disappoint. We've gone through 3/4ths of the container in short order.Revision: I ordered another container. My husband remembered the first container being low but this is ridiculous. I just received this today and if you look closely, you can see that the clear plastic ring is still intact. It's a shame. We go through pepper flakes like an army and I thought I'd found my source. What a shame. Back to the hunt.

Pungent with a nip, this the real thing. These more heavily chopped red pepper flakes allow folks with dentures, or certain bowel problems to use this product more easily. Folks who are fine with seeds can use these medium hot flakes as well. I find them plenty hot. This is not really powder; it has more body and definition. The 12 oz. plastic shaker container holds a lot. Be accurate when ordering because this product cannot be returned.

The product itself is great, the dispenser I got is not good. The dispenser under the cap with holes gets stuck inside the cap. You have to be very careful every time you use it and make sure the hole dispenser isn't stuck inside the cap or you'll waste about 1/4 of the container like I just did because of this flaw. Other than that, the double cut crushed red pepper product is great!!!! love the flavor!!! Still gave them 5 stars because they probably get some faulty dispensers, here and there.

I put spice on everything I eat prettymuch. Red pepper is very much on the mild side for me, I can dump on a bunch, and it's not all that spicy, just adds a little kick.I've gone through several of these sized jars in the past year. I'd have to say aver eating several pounds of the regular grind, this is really the way to go. It's easier to use (easier to spread out more evenly, due to small size of the grind), and provides about the same amount of heat as regular crushed red pepper.The flavor is probably as good as any I've had. As an added benefit, doesn't seem to get caught in your teeth like the standard size (I hate picking them out of my teeth and gums).Give it a try, good stuff!
