Works great for suede
This worked very well to completely restore a couple pairs of suede shoes. One bottle did two pairs, a sneaker and boots. It made the suede supple and the color rich again, even on a very well loved pair of boots. It’s definitely genuine mink because the place on the deck where I sprayed and the two pairs of shoes spooked my dogs a little bit!

Great, Convenient Leather Protection
Spend a fair amount on good footwear? Wanna make it last as long as possible? Treat it with Mink Oil. I HATE breaking out the gloves and rubbing-cloth for mink-oiling my expensive footwear. It never lasts that long, anyway, but hey, wet feet absolutely blow. Plus, during the colder months, its a great way to get sick. So oil them puppies up, and being able to SPRAY the stuff on those guys really makes a previously onerous task easy and quick. If you care and don't want to spend mountains of dough on footwear you know you're going to tear up in short order, you gotta do it. I like the convenience of a spray, and say a prayer for all the critters who contributed...

Okay for a pair of shoes, not so much for a jacket
I needed this for a brown leather jacket. No problems with the spray mechanism or the product coming out. Not wanting any spray residue inside the house, I took it out to do the job there. I carefully spread out the can over the entire jacket, being careful to get seams. Initially, I thought that I'd be able to see spray patterns as the leather looked a little spotty, despite my best efforts at even distribution, doing multiple light layers with different angles. Where it hit, the jacket turned substantially more brown. However, in a matter of minutes, the oil soaked into the leather and it basically evened itself out, and then lightened up with time, as it dried. It's such an old jacket that I'm glad I put this initial dose on with a spray, basically as a starter dose. However, since it's really only a few ounces, I reasoned I might need 4 or 5 more to do a really good job. That and I have 2 other leather coats to do, so at that rate, this stuff would break the bank, and so I ordered a gallon from another vendor at a much more economical rate.It did add some softness to the leather, which was what I was looking for and it overall did improve the look of the jacket, making it look not as old. However, for my purposes, the value simply wasn't there to recommend this for anything more than a pair of shoes or something. For a jacket, let alone several, this is just too expensive of an option.4 stars for being all that it says it is supposed to be and for not stinking very much. Down one star for relative economy.

Great for seaming and areas where you don’t want too much product
I have a few leather items which needed care and protection; the handbags I wanted to use this on have zippers and I didn’t want to use solid product on them which might stain the fabric on the zippers or get gloppy around seams etc…. Also I needed to treat one pair of shoes which have intricate cut work in the top leather layer and have been nearly impossible to oil because of those tiny spaces that will fill with a cream product. (I had to use cotton swabs and painstakingly clean out each leather “window”, which took forever and therefore got done once). This spray oil is a great solution and the spray is even and fine, as well as easy to use. I was pleased that it didn’t seem to stain or discolor the leather or leave a greasy film; I let the items dry and rubbed them with a soft cloth. Easy!

Spray your leather, Jackets and shoes
This spray does wonders for leather shoes and jackets. It restores the suppleness and texture. The shoes or jacket look new or fashionably weathered. If you live in a dry climate or wet/rain climate, you need this to protect your leather. in dry climate, your leather will fade and get brittle. This is restore it. with regular use, it will stay supple. In wet weather, it will repel water. It's easy to use. Just spray and wipe. I will buy more for my leather jackets.

VERY GOOD PRODUCT
This product is very good. I have purchased it twice. I wish it came in a larger size, and I wish they made it in a black spray polish combination. It is an awesome product. It is water-resistant and does help restore the natural beauty of leather. I have two 21 or 20-year-old black bags that I bought in 2001 or 2002. One is a spare. I have carried both the spare and the original bag and have kept both bags polished with black polish. I have used the mink oil that you have to rub on manually. This product is so much better!!! I highly recommend it. I will continue to purchase it.
