For an inexpensive scientific calculator, this one is hard to beat.
I love this calculator. I have had one of these ever since my early post college days. When I got out of the military after wartime, I was back in school and needed a calculator for an electronics course that I was taking on GI bill. I found this one (no internet searches back then :-) ). Its real beauty is that it can do advanced math up to integrals and differentials while not being dependent on batteries or recharging. It is solar powered, and you really have to love that. It has never failed me.

Works great! I have been using it for my college Algebra class and it is everything I have needed it to be so far. Lots of nice functions and is approved for most courses.

The TI-36X Pro is hands-down one of the best non-graphing calculators out there. I’ve been using it for engineering coursework, and it handles complex math, statistics, and scientific functions like a champ. The display is super clear, and I love the multi-line screen that lets you see inputs and results at the same time — way better than older models. It's intuitive once you get used to the layout, and the functionality is top-notch for everything from calculus to matrix operations. Also love that it’s permitted in exams where graphing calculators aren’t allowed — huge bonus!Solid build, sleek design, and definitely worth the investment if you're in any technical field.

Best $20 calculator
This calculator is amazing for its cost. I recommend it if you don’t need to graph functions or solve system of equations with complex numbers. The interface could be faster, I find It slow if you are typing long computations.However I fully recommend it if you’re in a budget. The only reason why it gets 4 stars is because of the lack of system of equations solver that accepts complex numbers.

The Standard
-It has a simple button layout for all essential functions. It can't graph but I still prefer it over any graphing calculator-4 lines. Seeing previous results and using the answers again is essential-Solar / reliable. The calculator died on me after 4 years, maybe from a weird log base. I hit the reset button and it was alive again as though nothing happened

Has all the important buttons
It can do regular integrals and it has the fraction button that is on the TI-84, so I wasn't too sad when I had to downgrade to this one for a test.
