Great Headset
This was my first headset purchase as I only began my PPL training a few weeks ago. I did some research online and it quickly became evident that David Clark is one of the leading brands for GA headsets. My CFI also recommended I stick with David Clark until I decide to upgrade to an ANR headset (Such as the Lightspeed's or Bose).I can only compare them to the ASA loaners I was using, but they are noticeably better in all aspects. They're comfortable, well-made, and everything is crystal clear. They allow just enough noise in for me as I like to hear some of the engine, but of course provide all the hearing protection you need'll need.Overall, there's not much to say that hasn't already been said about these. They doing everything well and are priced reasonably. Can't go wrong.

Great headset, and very comfortable.
I am a student pilot. I got tired of using the beat up and ragged headsets that are in the 172 I rent. On the advice of my CFI, I picked up a set of these bad boys. There is a reason David Clark is still number on in the industry. They make really good stuff!! These H10's are very comfortable, and fit very good. They block out a ton of noise, and the sound quality is excellent! If you are a student pilot, and just starting out, do yourself a favor and pick up a set of these. Your ears and head will thank you! Being comfortable in the cockpit is very important as it allows you to focus on flying the plane, and not how bad your head or ears hurt from a janky headset.I like them so much, that I bought my wife a pair to use when we go flying now.

Exactly as expected, works great
I've only flown with this once, but it performed exactly as expected. Crisp and clear audio and everyone could hear me great as well. Even before I got to the plane (a Piper Warrior, pa28-161) I switched the toggle switch to mono given the feedback here and vintage of the plane, seemed a good bet the audio system was mono, and sure enough no issues whatsoever. This is just what you'd expect, a perfectly functional and reliable headset at a reasonable price. No extra fancy features. I'm using this while earning my PPL.

Good for starters!
This is a good headset for student pilots starting out and not wanting to spend a fortune on a headset. The dials on the sides adjust the volume of each ear allowing for custom volume.

Didn’t work
Delivered nonfunctional-right speaker wasn’t working. The flight instructor said to not get it from Amazon, I should have listened.

Great starter headset potentially lifer
I did a lot of research for a good aviation headset to start off my piloting adventure and although the Bose A20 and a few of the high end Lightspeed were insanely tempting, I was left with 2 main reasons for choosing the H10-13s; Price and Flexibility. 1. Very reasonable for the exceptional quality 2. Will use for passenger headset when ANR/ENR is needed.*The option for the H10-13.4 was $30 cheaper at time of review, only difference is no stereo sound if you are more frugal

Sturdy, great for training and pilots with hearing aids.
I don't know what I could say about these that hasn't been said by thousands before me. I use these for my flight training in the 172. My instructor has them also. I have about 65 hours on them so far. They are comfortable and since I wear hearing aids I can't wear "On Ear" or "in Ear" headsets. These cut the engine noise very well and the individual volume controls suits my situation nicely. I am not headed for a professional flight career so I did not want to spend $1200 for a headset. At the beginning I did try active noise cancelling headphones and they did not work for me since my digital hearing aids have some noise cancelling already built in.
