What cable do I need to just print from my desktop?

It comes with a standard USB cable that you can attach to your computer.

Printer not working. Keeps saying "replace cartridge". Tried two brand new ones; same thing. ???

Take out all the trays, and toner cartridge, open all the doors and using a can of air blow out every thing you can to clear the dust. Use something similar to a diaper wipe and wipe the outside surfaces off as well. Verify all the tabs and such have been pulled out of the cartridge prior to replacing it and the tray back into the printer, closing all the doors and see if this helps.

What are the warranty details if buying this model and from this seller?

If you have the Serial Number and Model Number you can check with HP (www.hp.com/support) to verify warranty end date. You can extend the warranty, obtain print drivers, and join HP support forums. My printer was purchased new.
