It's a very good radio - my only complaint is that there is no one using the radio bands these days - so a waste of money - not the radio's fault - if I had this radio back in the 1980's - that would have been fine, but these days - silence - easy enough to switch between 10M and CB - all good, no complaints, value for money - be good if they made other single-band radios for the lower Ham Bands - say 40 meters on 10W?

Great radio looks good performance is very good. By holding 2 buttons you change from 11 m cb band to full 10m Ham band. On board swr reading which for a change Is quite accurate. Swr high warning (good feature) Echo tone and time. Switch. For cb obviously. .. also roger bleep again cb use. Overall very pleased with Radio much better price than on Ebay. Seen these radios on other sites going for 200+.

Like this radio a lot. Just the right power output for hillside dxing. Use it with a headmaster at home and a T2LT out and about. Compact and lightweight. Strong and rugged. A !or of great functions. Great VFM. Well done Alinco.

Radio fine works as it shul but shame about microphone starts to play up with channel change advice change it to coffin mic then u have no more worry

lovely radio if it works but this one did not it had faults on receive and transmit also channels kept changing when you De key the microphone.

If you want a value for money 10/11m setup you should consider the Allinco before looking at the more expensive options. It's not the prettiest radio in the world but performance is what counts and it has most higher end similar radios beaten hands down
