I have a habit of sleepwalking and turning off my alarms no matter how far away from my bed I post them, so I needed a creative option to try and jog me out of stasis in the mornings. This concept is pretty cute. The directions included are confusing, but with a little tinkering you can manage to figure it out on your own. I think maybe the only con I'd mention is that it doesn't plug into an outlet: you either need to load it up with batteries or power it via the USB hub on a power strip. Not too much of a deal breaker, but something to keep in mind. This does its job and is an inexpensive, cute alternative to a traditional alarm. I've honestly enjoyed it and don't regret the purchase. Also, not going to lie, it's fun to pretend you're some sort of ATF agent and dive out of bed to shoot the alarm off.

It's a cool little toy but not something I would rely on long-term. It's a pain to turn the alarm on and off, and the instructions were definitely written by someone who used an internet translator for their language to English. The manual said that it came with a pre-programmed tune for an alarm but mine didn't. I had to record an alarm sound off of YouTube. Also being a third shifter I'm really not a fan that you can't switch it to 24-hour time, but that's more of a personal opinion thing.

I bought this because I needed a fun, new alarm clock. I happen to be an accomplished pistol shooter so I figured this would be a great way to wake up. There are many reviews saying this product is hard to program or use - those reviews are wrong. The instructions were clear and setting an alarm or alarm mode is very simple. The only draw backs to this product are the amount of batteries required (in both the gun remote and the clock itself) and the low quality microphone on the clocked used to record voices. Minor grievances at best. This clock has helped me changed my sleep pattern and really have fun waking up. You must "shoot" the clock to start a five minute snooze, but the alarm will not stop until you physically get out of bed and press a button on the base of the clock. Being able to wake up to the sound of a competition shooting buzzer and quickly acquire the target and squeeze the trigger is super fun. The slide of the pistol is actually actuated, and it makes a bang sound complete with the sound of a cartridge case clattering to the floor. I like this product so much I am going to order one for a friend.

Wow. I'm usually pretty lucky with Amazon purchases, but I struck out on this one. I was excited to use this, but just in case, I set my cellphone alarm for ten minutes prior to the Gun Alarm. Thank goodness I did. The target did go up, but it barely made a sound. And it kept going up and down for fifteen minutes even though I was "hitting the bull-eyes". Eventually got so annoyed with it that I ended up ripping the batteries out to make it stop, since it wasn't responding. Don't waste your time. Don't buy it. As soon as I return to my apartment (on a vacation right now), I'm going to return this piece of junk.

Purchased this for my Son for Christmas in 2014. After reading the other reviews I took a chance buying this product basically hoping that the one I got might be among the ones that actually work properly....nope, I got a buggy one like everyone else. It's impossible to set as a morning alarm clock. Heck my Husband, Son, or Myself couldn't even figure out how to set the proper time. Game mode is pretty much all it's worth purchasing for but if you're looking for somewhat of a challenge this isn't the shooting game you're looking for. My Son was nailing the target shooting behind his back. It's a brilliant idea & would be a GREAT fun alarm clock/gift if it was designed to actually work & able to be easily set up.

I was really hesitant to order this based on the SUPER mixed reviews, but we have been thrilled! The mechanism for the target works perfectly, the alarm noise takes a little getting used to (supposed to be the sound of gunfire) but after about 2 nights my husband woke up to it without me poking him ; ). Game mode is a huge hit for all the men in my family, and I really like the the numbers on the clock are dimmed until the alarm actually goes off; no red glare all night. Overall, I'm so glad I risked it!

I don't really know where to start. First of all, you can't really practice accuracy, because the pistol kind of shotguns out, and spreads as you get farther. Next, when you set a alarm time, it pops up every hour at that time. Third of all, the alarm has no sound, so you have to rely on waking up from it popping up, every hour. Fourth of all, it had a mode where you could shoot at the target for fun, but, after we set an alarm time, the mode did not do anything. My little brother ordered it on my account to save money, and after a few hours of it randomly popping up, we had to get it out of his room. So, now it sits on the dining room table, forever randomly popping up.

I’ve tried so many different kind of alarm clocks in this one actually really works well. This is literally my Third one in 10 years and that’s because I lost one moving and my boyfriend took the other one

Good Product, it seems to be a private branded Althemax. Packing is good and product arrived without any scratch. Seems to be of good quality as compared to other generic products. Should be durable and work for a long time. Will buy again.

This is absolutely AMAZING. It doesn't feel cheaply made at all, package is delightful, and performs SPECTACULAR! This is a must buy. Personally, I think I should have bought the white coloured version, but that doesn't change the fact that this is a phenomenal product.

So far, we like this alarm clock. You can play games, as well as wake up to the alarm that you have to shoot to turn off. We were not expecting this to be fully BATTERY operated! Not only will it be expensive, but it will not be as reliable, if the batteries go out in the night!
