0.25g/Inch Tennis Racquet Lead Tape Weight with Color Coated 1/4'' x 197''

Title is misleading, not a color coating. The black is just another tape on top of the lead tape and that comes off pretty easily, a bit disappointing.

I use the tape to end weight my Pickleball paddle.The tape is easy to apply. It also has a black finish so it does not diminish the paddles apearance.

Black lead tape. Narrow. perfect for beneath the grommets or inside the hoop.

Bought this lead tape because of the black finish. I string and customize tennis racquets and had been spray painting my lead tape previous to buying this. After purchasing, I applied to my first racquet and it looked beautiful. Took it out to the courts in about 65 degree weather , and lo and behold, the black started separating from the lead tape . It was taped on to the lead, not sprayed. Tried it a few more times and the same results. So I peeled the black all of and I’m back to spraying. One good thing, the lead sticks very well, no complaints at all. I will purchase this company’s lead tape without the black cover and continue to spray myself in the future.

Quality

So far the lead tape seems to hold up fine. But the black color coat began to come off just minutes after applying the tape at the top inner portion of the racquet, revealing the lead. I was under the impression that the outer portion of the lead tape was painted black and not black tape. Either way, the black adhesive is not strong enough to stay on.

Black comes off after a month

Doesn’t stick, lead peels apart in two and separates. Bad for tennis

only been on my paddle for a week and its already breaking off , not very resilient
