Cute
Cute retro "alarm" clock. Except for the screws, it's all plastic. Pretty simple to assemble, even comes with a small screw driver. Most of the screws are very small. I was able to skip using several screws to assemble the body of the clock without compromising the stability

Its Decorative
It simply makes the google home mini look more decorative. I replaced my alarm clock with a google home mini and my phone for some time now. Its nice being able to easily request an alarm for a specific time so i love it. And having a shell to basically make it look like an alarm clock is incredibly amusing to me. And i do like how it makes the speaker more directional, i really dont think it improves the sound all that much. But overall the speakers on these guys were pretty bad to begin with. So, yeah i guess it does improve it a bit but not by much. As for assembly, it was a bit annoying to put together. A tiny screw driver with tiny screws. And at some points you have to provide a good amount of force. I could see people who struggle gripping things or working with their hands just giving up on this. And the little handle along the top was one of the worst offenders and trying to screw it in place when its actually 2 pieces screwed together is kind of hard. But if your up for the effort, or if you have a better screw set, then you will likely have no issues with putting this product together. Beyond that, the build is nice, the colors are nice, and it has a pretty premium feel for what it is. It is rather nicely made.

Pretty good. Would be perfect with some slight improvements.
A cute and very reasonably priced case. It looks great and I'm very happy with all the buttons on the Google home (including the tiny reset button on the back) remain easy to access. There's no instructions, but it's pretty straight forward to put together. My only confusion was if I was missing something because there are extra screws. Overall it assembles nicely and feels secure. The only thing I wish they'd change is that the top bar is in two pieces. They ended up not matching up perfectly for me. Especially if I tightened the end pieces too much. But it's not terribly noticable. So overall I'm happy and would recommend. Just seems easy to fix by making the top bar a single piece.

Elevates the Google Home Mini
I just got mine today for the MIni in the Kitchen. I wanted it off the counter. This is super cute. I got white to go with my chalk mini. THe plastic pieces lined up perfectly. There was an extra screw of each type. The handle across the top is 2 pieces...not sure why that is needed. That final screw would not catch so I took a pin to the hole--maybe there was a piece of plastic keeping it from threading. The screwdiver included was fine for the M2 screws--the magnetic element was helpful. However, it was too small and would NOT catch the 2 screws needed to secure the bells and the handle so I used one of my small flatheads and they went right in. IF this were not on the kitchen counter, I would leave the handle off altogether and just screw down the bells. This way I can quickly move it if needed. Usually these kind of devices have cord management as a priority. This has a track for the cord, but the rest of the cord has no place to go. I looped it, used a tie and then used the USB as sort of a hanger for the loop I made. This way the kitchen counter is not covered with cord. Sound I think is better upright vs flat. A key reason for having it is that it announces my Nest doorbell ring, which given the layout of the house can be hard to hear in the kitchen with the fan on, the dishwasher going, etc. The cutest mini holder I have seen so far. Sometimes pure practical is what you want, like my downstairs hallway mini in a holder that hides the cord, sits in the wall plug and tells me someone rang the doorbell. This clock would not work there, but this is a great addition to possibilities.

Give your mini some pop
My children love the retro look of an alarm clock that this holder gives. The injection molds are well made and the parts fit together nicely. The mold finish has a slight texture giving a matte finish that looks good. It comes with a screw driver that made assembly with all of the very small screws as snap. The handle along the top is two pieces that you screw to tether and I would have preferred if it was a single piece. For my usage I have decided to leave the handle off. For performance I find the upright tilt helps the microphone pick up my voice from a little further away and the responses are a bit more clear by moving it from firing upwards.

Pain to put together
It's good to use if you need space vertically. BUT putting together is impossible. The screws are very small and wouldn't screw in properly. I ended up using white electrical tape to secure, and I didn't add the bar that goes across. Cute idea, the designers need to make it easier to use.

Really cute addition to my bedroom
This is a real cute holder. It does distort the sound a bit (lots of bass) but I am not planning on listening to music on this Goggle mini so that is not the main purpose for me. If it was, I would purchase a different holder.
