Timeless Frames Lauren Portrait Wall Photo Frame, 11 by 14-Inch, Silver

I thought this frame would have more shine and metallic sheen. It is more flat and dull looking gray with a very slight light reflective quality. I don’t care for the color or appearance. Will get some spray paint & change the look entirely. It is a nicely well made frame despite the color. Like another customer stated, the staples which were used to add cardboard protection on the back, are troublesome to remove. The mat that is included is nice and has a silver edge which is pretty.

First of all, I ordered 2 in silver. One is silver, the other is pure white. The box it was in was marked silver but the packaging said "pure white" which is what it is. I'll keep to use elsewhere but because they didn't match I had to go frame shopping which for me means travelling 65 miles away. A second problem was that the hanger came unattached and it was no easy job getting it nailed into the plastic-like backing. I finally got it in but again, I can't use these frames where I intended. They were packaged very well, although one marked wrong. For the price I guess they are ok.

I generally like the frame, but I had two problems with it.1) As per other reviews, they staple the packaging to the frame. I could not remove the staples, so I'm concerned they could scratch my wall.2) The hanger was not attached. It was provided in a little plastic bag with two itty bitty nails. You have to center it and nail them in yourself. I had trouble with this, and spent several minutes scouring the floor when I dropped the nail.

Ordering Timeless Frames has been a horrible experience. I ordered 4 of these. Two were good. Two did not have the mat and sent them back.One of the two replacements came. It was good. Other one somehow was sent to Kentucky instead of listed address in Iowa. Received refund.Ordered another one. Frame was not remotely square and matting was off kilter. Sent back and ordered replacement.The replacement came. Listed as silver, a gold colored one came. Returning now.I still do not have 4 decent frames after a great deal of time. The frames are good, when they are good.**Update** Last frame came in good condition. I now have 4 matching frames.

Frame is nice, but the mat that was in the 2 frames I received was a khaki green (Not Silver). It's for a gift in a few days so now I'm scrambling to find a mat in time.

This was exactly the sound but not spectacular frame we ordered. You can find similar items in stores if you want to be sure what you are getting. The only questionable product design is that putting on the "hanger" part is very difficult because the nails used are too small, at least for someone with big hands like me.

I have to second what has been said in other reviews: the joinery on the corners is misaligned and no hangers were provided with the frame, contrary to what the description says. I ended up returning it because the Golden State Art silver beige frame was cheaper, better quality, and looked better on my piece of art.

Nice looking, but arrived with some slight damage to the finish in three places. Add the fact that nowhere does it specify that it requires the addition of wire in order to make it hang-able makes this less than so-so quality.
