These are really nice needle files for small, precise filing work. The dipped handles make them comfortable as I don't like the ones with bigger handles. The included shapes are good...I have found a couple I didn't think I needed, but now use pretty regularly. Glad I have these vs others that are lower quality.

This is the second time I ordered these files. The first time, it came with a pouch. The product page still says: About this item Length: 5.5” (140 mm); Handle diameter: 3 mm Material: bearing hardened steel Comes in a PVC pouch for dust-free storage Dipped handles for comfort and excellent grip when exposed to moisture or fluids Perfect for shaping soft metal, wood, and plastic There was no pouch. If this is important then purchase something else.

Pretty handy for anything small that you need to file.

I purchased the 10Pcs Needle File Set for use on objects produced on my 3D printer, and they work very well in with the PLA filament. Due to the nature of 3D printing with PLA filament, often times parts need to be filed down slightly to mate with other parts. The files are sturdy and the rubber handles make them easy to hold & use, & their narrow profile make them ideal for intricate work. Highly recommended! I have no idea where some of the poor reviews come from - to me it seems like its another case of Amazon including reviews for another item(s). Folks have complained these are not large enough or long enough. These do not bend easily. They are meant for fine work, not grinding automotive parts and the like. They are not made for that kind of work - they are made for fine detail work on softer materials (wood, plastics, PLA filaments, etc.). If you use them for metalwork, they will wear very quickly. Be sure you select files that will match you need before purchasing any file. And look at the 1 & 2 star reviews to see why folks left that rating and then decide for yourself if those comments are pertinent to you and your need.

I love the value on this set the most, what a bargain for 10 needle files. Bright yellow storage case so you will never lose your needle files. Works very well on sharpening my hand saw, a little tedious but hard work is its own reward. I would recommend this needle file set to everybody that needs one, guaranteed to be useful for something! Perfect for rc plane

Not sure how they’ll handle long term but at the moment they seem to be holding up against softer materials. I bought them to help with filing down metal miniatures and they seem to be holding up and doing a good job. I do like the numerous shapes and small sizes for this job so that’s a plus in my books. I do find that when working with things like green/brown stuff they tend to get rather gummed up and need routine cleaning. Otherwise for the price they seem decent for the job I’m doing. Not sure if they are actually “hardened alloy” though as I haven’t used them on anything but fairly soft materials. Decent enough for what I bought them for though.
