Case Logic DCB-306 SLR Camera Holster (Black) Large

I'm new to photography and, thus, photography accessories. I bought this bag looking for a few things:1. A small bag to fit my D5200 with the 18-55mm kit lens attached.2. A cheap bag with a good reputation.3. Something that didn't look terrible.So I heard that Case Logic is one of the creme-de-la-creme of camera bag makers so I ended up going with this here DCB-306 SLR Camera Holster thing. Here's what I liked.1. It fits the Nikon D5200 with the kit lens perfectly. It also fits my girlfriend's D3100 with her kit lens perfectly. Not at the same time, obviously, but each one fit in there rather well. Nice and snug so I don't worry about it moving around in there.2. The three extra pockets (one under the top flap, the two side ones) are more than enough storage for me. I keep my SD card, my lens cap, etc in there. Everything fits well. Nothing breaks.3. The bag itself feels of high quality. The material is thick, the stitching looks well done. This looks and feels like a high quality camera bag (unless there's some ridiculously high quality camera bag I'm not aware of that makes this look like trash...but I doubt it).4. The price was right.And here's what I didn't like.1. The shoulder strap sucks. It's thin and the fabric is uncomfortable. I wouldn't want to carry this around, say, an amusement park or a zoo all day on a hot day. The word "chafing" comes to mind.I really bought this bag just to keep my camera in because I have a stigma about just leaving it on a counter top or a desk. I like "putting it away" so I know it's safe. This case is everything I needed it to be. I would recommend it. 5-stars.

Love the padded case. Fit Sony RX-10M4 very well. Extra batteries can be stored in the side zippered pockets.

There’s no doubt that finding the right camera bag is very difficult. On my long trips, I normally use a larger bag to carry “the extras” . This case was purchased to not only provide protection for my P950 bt allow me to carry and use during opportunities in in climate weather. The Nikon P950 is not waterproof so, even in the rain, if you can get under a little cover, you can get the shot. I will be using this case to protect my camera when packing it in carryon luggage and provide a protective case for carry without worrying about the weather. The case is padded well, fits my. P950 like a glove and gives the opportunity to catch the photos I want. The only reason this case got 4 stars instead of 5 was the carry strap. The strap leaves a lot to be desired so I bought a better one on Amazon.If you own a Nikon P950 , you won’t go wrong in purchasing this case , even if bought for just a quick backup.

I bought this to carry my camera across the country and back, and to protect it while navigating big cities and national parks, and it has held up incredibly well! There have definitely been times hiking that I wished I didn't have the pack on my shoulder for sure, but when I see the pictures they are totally worth it.This case is designed well, no wasted space (pockets can be a bit tight but, the material is strong and, even if stretched a bit will not break). I carry two batteries, a wall charger, a usb sd card reader, and a usb cable in it alongside the camera.I've done some strenuous climbing/hiking with this slung over my shoulder and its both protected the camera and maintained its function. The strap is adjustable which is nice, and you can also wear this on your belt if you choose.

Really enjoy this camera case. I didn't want something big to lug around but yet have a case that would protect my camera (Lumix fsz200) especially when traveling. Not only my camera but power pack battery and charger fit in the padded case. It does fit snugly but I didn't want my camera moving around and I was also wanting a case that wasn't big and cumbersome. The side pockets are great for the chargers cord, filter and cleaning cloths so everything that I would need can be stored in this case. If you have a lot of accessories beyond what I have described you might want the next size up. I love the adjustable shoulder strap and handle. It also has a belt loop if you would rather attach it to your belt as a carrying option. The quality of the material it's constructed of is great and seems like it would be at least water resistant if not waterproof. Haven't had to use it in the rain so I can't really say that it is but I'm not worried about getting caught in the rain with it. I also like the orange trim on it as it makes it standout and identifiable. Have used other Case Logic products in the past and have found them to be very functional and dependable. Would purchase this case again and highly recommend it if you're looking for a somewhat compact case. Also...the price was great compared to the big box stores and delivery was prompt.

I bought this case to carry my Canon Rebel T5 with the 75-300MM lens attached. It fits beautifully, nice and snug. This case is 7.5 innches deep on the inside so it should accomodate cameras with the long lens attached very easily. The case contains three zippered pockets, two on the outside, on each side, and one on the inside of the lid. The zipper pull on the inside pocket tucks safely into a tiny sleeve so it would not scratch the LCD display on the camera. I really like that this case gives three ways to carry it, a belt loop, a handle on top, and a long, adjustable carry belt that detaches from the case, if desired, and is long enough to carry it cross-body comfortably. This case is very well padded to protect the contents within. Very good price, thoughtfully designed, well made, excellent buy.

I absolutely love this holster bag. Solid construction, much better than the rest, looks great. I ordered 3-4 bags, and this was by FAR the best. Sent the others back. Just big enough for my Sony a7r3 and Sigma 70-200 lens, although it’s not suited for a 27-70mm. Keep batteries in the sides, cards in the front. I really like the hard bottom, and inside sheath. Great value, and this is not a paid review.
