Now this is a keeper! GoPro straps are awesome.
I recently purchased the GoPro Vented Helmet Strap Mount on Amazon, and it’s been an excellent addition to my GoPro gear. This strap is a game-changer for anyone who doesn't want to rely on sticky mounts but still wants a secure, stable way to attach their camera to a helmet. The installation is super easy—just slip it over the vents of your helmet, adjust the straps, and you're good to go. It holds the camera firmly in place, even during intense movement or activities. I’ve used it while biking, skiing, and even during some pretty rough terrain, and my GoPro stayed securely attached throughout. The quality is solid for the price. It's made of durable materials, yet it's lightweight and unobtrusive when worn. The strap design ensures that the camera sits in the perfect spot for capturing footage, without any wobbling or shifting. One of the best features is the fact that I don’t have to mess with sticky mounts, which can leave residue or damage the helmet. For such a reasonable price, it offers great value. Overall, I highly recommend the GoPro Vented Helmet Strap Mount for anyone looking for a reliable and affordable mounting solution for their helmet.

Mandatory accessory for all GoPro users!!
AMAZING INVESTMENT if you own a GoPro!!!!!!! In fact, if you own a GoPro then this accessory is a mandatory one. I use this mount on the back of my hand and take amazing video while scuba diving, cave tubing, bike riding, skiing, and hiking in the mountains. In fact, this strap works better and costs less than the actual wrist strap. Also, while on the back of your hand, you will always have the camera out and ready for the spur of the moment videos you might need. To use this on the back of your hand, you begin by placing the soft foam side on the back of your hand. Bring one strap around the outside of your hand, over your palm, and behind your thumb then secure it. Next, bring the other strap around the inside of your hand between your thumb and index finger, over your palm, to the outside of your hand and secure it. Now tighten the straps, but not too tight because you will realize that when you hand is in a fist, the straps tighten (and you will always want to shoot video with your hand in a fist otherwise your fingers will be in the video). Once the GoPro is snapped in place, use the quick-release vibration plug to secure the camera. Also, you can tether the GoPro to the straps, thus making it near impossible to lose the GoPro. And there you have it, a cheap and easy hand mount that can be used in the water, on a hike, in the snow, etc….

Works good but it comes with just the strap I expected it to come with the GoPro mount

Camera Secure
This item allows secure and trouble free GoPro helmet mounting. Fits perfectly. I chose this item because the product is made by the same vendor as the camera. Quality construction. Yep, you can get similar items cheaper but why would you? Your camera was not cheap. Why chance an inferior product to keep your camera secure! Make sure your helmet is vented or the product will not work for you. Have used this for over a year without problems.

On the fence
I was gonna do three stars, but the product works exactly like it should. The only downside is it puts that weight of the camera on the front of the helmet and the helmet starts to slide down a little as you’re hidden jumps on the mountain bike I don’t regret the purchase though I think I’m still happy I got the purchase. I want to try maybe using a different helmet or maybe putting it more in the middle of the helmet and see if that makes a difference

Genuine GoPro Item - Works Great
Simple and well made with quality materials. Time will tell. Attaches easily, but can take a few trial and error attempts to decide which hole locations work best for the mount to be sturdy and maintain position. The plastic block where the camera clips is thick and rigid, a good thing. Grip pad is firm, also a good thing. I'm usually fine with aftermarket stuff if I can save a few bucks, but on a mount for a $400 camera, spend more and buy OEM. Sounds like a few people are getting counterfeits. I received a genuine GoPro OEM accessory in sealed original retail packaging. My order was sold by Ritz Camera. I noticed the seller on this item changes frequently. Be cautious, check specific seller ratings, and only buy when it's "fulfilled by Amazon". That will give you recourse if not as described.

Requires more quick release accessories to use! Not ready to use as is…..
This strap is not as pictured and not ready to use. You need a quick release mount, sold separately, and not mentioned in the product page, to use this strap. I pictured what you get so you aren’t mislead like I was. You need to order separately te quick release clips to attach your camera to this strap…..

Its ok
It was kind of hard to get onto the bike helmet without the straps coming undone or it was too loose. But maybe I just suck at putting this on. It didn't come with instructions but maybe they figure if your smarter than me you could do it. I eventually was able to get it on the helmet pretty well and the video was pretty stable. My real issue with this is how hard it is to connect the GoPro mount to and off of this. I had to really push and push to get it to snap in and then to get it off I had to remove the camera press the clips and then push it on the edge of my desk to get it to finally slide off. I have other types of mounts and none of them are as hard to get off as this one. But for the low price I kinda don't mind. It's ok.

Great product
I’ve had a few helmet straps for light and kind before when I cycle and found them a little bit loose and not very sturdy. This however is great. It allows you tighten it up effectively and is sturdy when riding which is always good and very much needed. I’d recommend it to friends
