I bought these to help organise all those things that get shoved in a drawer. A box for pens and stationery, one for batteries, one for lightbulbs, one for cables etc. At just over £2 a box they’re cheaper than the fancy storage boxes you can buy, and if you really don’t like the plain brown cardboard you can decorate it if you want.There were no instructions on how to assemble the boxes, but there’s no way you can go wrong, it’s self-explanatory, there’s only one way they can go together. It takes maybe a minute or two to make one up, no more. The plastic windows were loose in the bottom of the box so have a good rummage before you think they’re not there.The cardboard is sturdy, you could stack them on top of each other comfortably. In terms of size, if you’re buying them for shoes they’d take pretty much everything except the biggest of boots. For smaller shoes, slip ons and so on, you could get two pairs in each box easily.They arrived a day sooner than expected, always nice when that happens.

Although the pictorial assembly instructions depict a slightly different shape of box, it was relatively simple to work out how to assemble the boxes. I ordered two batches of ten. In the first batch the little plastic windows were loose within the cardboard packaging and not easy to find ( they were stuck to the side of the packaging through static so that I nearly overlooked them before throwing the packaging away). The second batch had the little plastic windows suitably contained in a cellophane envelope which was better. However, although my second order was for exactly the same product, the size of the second batch of boxes transpired to be slightly larger by a few millimetres, which means when stacked alongside each other they look uneven ( see photo)

These seemed such a good idea, especially as I try to keep away from buying plastic products as much as I am able. When the product came, we made them up and that was straightforward. I could see though when doing so, that they won't be lasting very long. At the end, we had 9 boxes made up and one missing the drawer component. When contacting the seller, they asked for a photo, which we duly sent and they asked if we could buy the part from a shop and offered a £4 rebate. If we thought this was a one off, that might have been ok, but my daughter had also bought these and had parts missing, and as she has two young children, she doesn't have the time to chase it up

I was really pleased with these boxes. When made up the boxes are strong and solid. I have them stacked up 5 x 4 and when they are like that you can see the shoes and pull out the sliding inner section like a drawer so its easy to find the ones that you want. I take shoe size 40 / 6.5 and I can get one pair of heels or chunkier shoes in each box, but flats and flipflops you can fit 2 or 3 pairs in. When I made them up I did add a bit of sellotape to stick the transparent window in place. Other than that easy to make up and all fitted together neatly.

Before buying these I have read the reviews. Some of them said that they are wobbly, do not keep their shape, and were struggling with the assembly.I am an engineer, and immediately understood how to assemble them. Also- I realised that if you do not assemble it according to how it was designed, you might face problems.So- I say that they are good qulity and sturdy, packaging was good enough. But for the manufacturer I advise to put a little visual instruction into the packgins with the sequence on how to assemble, and that they will have only positive reviews.

I don't usually leave a review on products which is pretty bad as I am a consumer that really relies on the reviews of others. I bought these shoe boxes as I have lots of shoes and I wanted them all in matching boxes. I'm making my spare bedroom into a shoe room. I am really happy with these boxes they definitely deserve a 5 star review. Delivery was fast and they are so easy to assemble. Most of all they store my shoes perfectly and look really tidy. I have only ordered 20 at the moment but will be putting another order in shortly

These boxes are ok for the price, at first thought complicated to make but they are easy once figured out, depending on shoe size and type of shoe can store a pair of shoes+a pair of sandals, needed to use a bit of sellotape for some of boxes, I wouldn't bother with the clear plastic bit, does the job but certainly would have been disappointed if I had paid more
