Easy to fit and is adjustable to any wid not a one handed opening though

We have a very shaped newel post where the gate needs to be fitted so can not use the gate but very impressed with the look, adjustability and sturdiness.

Use this at the top of our stairs to protect my elderly mum from falling down the stairs when she visits the toilet in the middle of the night.

Pros: beautiful wood, well made, good price.Cons: very poor latch and fiddly/clunky to open and close. Our walls aren’t very straight so not very easy to align, but just felt the design wasn’t well thought out.Returned and ordered the retractable one which is much better.

Its a nice solid gate but a fiddle to install. The video instruction are ok but completely skip the bit which will cause you the hassle - fixing it to the wall! If you are a competent DIY-er and understand the difference between solid and dry wall fixings you will be fine - but give yourself time as it needs really thinking through...

From start to finish this was a dream! Before I even received the gate a member of the team sent me an email thanking me for the order and saying that it was on the way!Once it arrived I was just so happy. Lovely naked wood. Sturdy! My sons had managed to pull off other gates off the door frame, however this one is perfect. The ability to change the size without the need for purchasing more pieces was also amazing!!I will be getting more for around the house for sure!!!
