I recently had an air con system installed and was a bit disappointed to find that getting the WiFi enabled model was about £250 more expensive per unit (which quickly adds up when you have more than one). I was researching ideas on how to handle this and came across Sensibo. The ad promised everything and I have to be honest I was a little skeptical on it's promise of compatibility but wow I'm truly impressed by this. It's a neat little unit on a USB charger that in essence acts as a remote control replicator with your device so it's truly plug and play and it took a little over 7 minutes to get it fully operational. I'm super impressed by how easy it is to use and the extended schedules and controls you get via the app. The alexa setup was a little bit trickier because I had to uninstall and reinstall the app but it's a super impressive contraption here and would highly recommend for anyone who wants to take control of their system!

After much frustration fighting with TADO Air conditioner controllers, that I found to be annoyingly unreliable (frequently going offline, or not sending command). so finally conceding defeat and bought 2 of these Sensibo Sky units. My first impression was they were a bit fiddly to set up, but as soon as that was sorted, wow they just work... seriously you could say that are just boringly reliable, also some nice features that work really well, and they've been working perfectly for the last few months (I wait and use the item for a few months before writing a review... that if I bother to write a review) so my final impression is these units do everything I needed them (and the TADO units) to do, no fuss, no dropping offline and with a number of really useful features. one final point... if these units are so good, and they are, very, very good, why did I only give 4 stars, the problem is that as soon as you've registered Sensibo send you A LOT of sales emails literally dozens and dozens... if anyone from Sensibo reads this, guys listen ...TOO MANY SALES EMAILS!!! its a big negative, a pain in the rear and for that one act alone you just turned a 5 start review into a 4 star one.

Easy to set up, good looking unit but power cable didnt match the colour so looked a bit poor. Reason for the 1 star is that sometimes it turned the aircon on and sometimes it didnt so i returned it. Bought a much cheaper option on here and the cheap item works perfectly

Really impressed, I've used a Broadlink RM mini to control my AC unit for some time, this was buggy, slow, unreliable and struggled to control the fan speed properly and timers were next to useless. This unit was a piece of cake to set up and just worked, the app is easy to use and does more than I expected, the price seems high for the hardware but it the backend and software that make it well worth the money as a bonus it works pretty well with Google Home / Google Home Hub

Nice little gadget that adds wireless function to my budget air con unit. Setup was very easy. I mainly wanted it so I can use it with Alexa, it does work but the functions are limited. I can't seem to find a list of commands that actually work, they don't advertise it anywhere on their website. I've marked it down a little because I will say "alexa turn the ac on" and alexa confirms the command but the sensibo led doesn't come on, usually have to ask it twice. My unit is placed 1 meter under the air con ir sensor so it's perfectly placed. The app is a little poor aswell. They have a function to set climate control and its great you can set "feels like" rather then actual temperature but thees no way in the app to see what the current "feels like" temperature actually is? So it takes alot of guess work to actually fine tune the settings. I think it's massively over priced aswell.

What a great device for automating your IR AC or Fans, I have these working to control my Delonghi AC, Dyson Pure Cool and regular Dyson Fan, the Dyson Pure Cool did not work when purchasing the Sensibo as this does not use the same remote as the regular Dyson fans, but after contacting their support, they managed to do a recording session with myself and programmed the remote control, I can now confirm this is fully working with the Dyson Pure cool, the support team answer all queries very quickly, they are even updating the regular Dyson fan control so when adjusting the temp this will control the fan speed instead, this will make it much easier to control via Alexa. The device itself is very easy to set up, just plug it in, open the Sensible app, scan the barcode, then point your remote at the Sensibo so it can discover your AC model. Great product with great helpful support.

Connection is great and easy. Temp control excellent. Any problems with anything the customer service is second to none. Delighted with my purchase.

Paket erhalten, ausgepackt, angeschlossen, läuft. Was soll ich noch mehr dazu sagen? Per App verbunden, WLAN eingerichtet, alles innerhalb einer Minute. Fernbedienung gegen gehalten power gedrückt, fertig. Meine Klima (Tosot) wurde sofort erkannt. Einfach super, nun kann ich von Unterwegs die Klima steuern. Nächster Schritt ist die Einbindung in meine Homematic.

The product is perfect, save me being worried especially in summer in this part of the region (Middle east summer time) However only one problem, it is expensive if am going to buy one for each unit. However, the installation was easy and i like the product.

100% worth it super-friendly apps and easy to installed it.Just plug and play, and it is done. You just need to download the apps from the Play Store to start using the controller. Just follow the instructions from the apps, and it will only take 5 minutes to complete the process. So far, I don't even need to choose which brand of air conditioner I am using; it is just automatically configured and can be used immediately after you install it. The item was very small, and Compaq is half the size of my phone. The controller has a lot of functions and features that you can try to use, but in the meantime, I just set a few functions on the apps.One of them was that they had a graph where you could see how much you were using the air conditioning either day, month, or year. I'm thinking of getting another one soon because it is much better than the one I had from a third party, which should be compatible with my air conditioner but somehow gave me a lot of issues with connection and always crashed.

Ho acquistato questo dispositivo dopo aver provato il modello Ambi climate 2 che purtroppo ha smesso di funzionare dopo poche settimane. Anche questo prodotto, pur costando meno, ha un prezzo importante CONFEZIONE ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Il packaging è ben curato anche se essenziale (da subito risaltano le dimensioni ridotte del device) All'interno della confezione trovate - cavetto di ricarica microusb con alimentatore ( vi sono due alimentatore sia per presa italiana che per presa inglese) - device - istruzioni CARATTERISTICHE ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Il device è realizzato con buoni materiali. Le dimensioni sono estremamente compatte oltre ad essere estremamente leggero (più piccolo di una carta di credito) La parte superiore è caratterizzata da una superficie semitrasparente che garantisce l'uscita del segnale infrarosso. La copertura del segnale è di 180 gradi rispetto alla superficie di installazione. A differenza del modello Ambi questo dev'essere obbligatoriamente installato a parte in quanto non possiede supporti per poter essere appoggiato su di una superficie piana (tavolo, mobile etc..) Nella parte inferiore si trova: - port micro usb per collegamento elettrico - QR code per installazione Anche questo prodotto ha una codifica colore che si attiva solo n fase di ricerca ed abbinamento. Durante l'operatività non vi sono led di stato accesi PRINCIPALI FUNZIONI ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Il device clona il telecomando del vostro climatizzatore Devo dire che la fase di installazione si è rivelata molto rapida e l'app molto pratica e stabile. Il comando viene trasmesso al clima con una latenza quasi inesistente. Devo ammettere che l'app è un vero punto di forza ed è maggiormente performante rispetto al modello proposto da Ambi. Priva di fronzoli, semplice e molto pratica nell'utilizzo INSTALLAZIONE ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ L'installazione è veramente semplice. Anzitutto è necessario collegare il dispositivo all'alimentazione e verificare che il led frontale lampeggi. Vi consiglio di installare il dispositivo prima di installarlo a parete (se utilizzate il biadeviso in dotazione), in quanto il QR code è presente nella parte posteriore e vi evita di cercare i codici seriali. Scaricare la app Sensibo dallo store (Apple o PlayStore) Avviare la app e seguire le istruzioni riportate. In buona sostanza il dispositivo attiva una rete wifi cui vi dovrete collegare con il device che controllerà il dispositivo. Una volta connessi l'app chiederà di selezionare la rete di casa inserendone la password. Il dispositivo sarà collegato. L'installazione comporta la registrazione al cloud Sensibo Il device dev'essere posizionato in modo che lo split sia "visibile" in linea d'aria (copertura 180gradi) ESPERIENZA DI UTILIZZO ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Non utilizzo più il telecomando in dotazione in quanto comando tutto dalla app. Trovo comodissimo poter configurare il clima da remoto al fine di trovare un clima fresco al rientro in casa. ho interfacciato il sistema anche con Alexa, ma sinceramente lo utilizzo sempre in modalità app in quanto, a mio parere, è realizzata molto bene. CONCLUSIONI ✓ Materiali di qualità ✓ Design funzionale ✓ App veramente intuitiva e pratica Veramente ottimo dispositivo anche se il prezzo resta importante.
