Nikon Coolpix Camera Case A100 Compact 20 Mpix

Of primary importance with a camera, this camera takes excellent photos. I've tried it in all modes and options and the results are the same; great. it may not do all the things a professional SLR will do but for a compact camera that is easy and convenient to carry around for those odd shots, with a variety of scenic options to compensate for varying conditions this meets all my requirements. It is small and very light but feels good in the hand and is not so small that the controls are in any way awkward. The layout of controls is logical and easy to use. The only issue is with cables. The USB lead is very short, but this isn't an issue for me as I use the one from my previous Coolpix, and, as other reviewers have mentioned, it doesn't come with a UK compatible mains charging lead. It has USA and continental Europe adapter but no UK one. This isn't a problem for me as the voltage and ampage input are the same as for my old Coolpix so I just use the ones supplied with that. Alternatively you could buy a mains adapter at Boots. This is a side issue that the manufacturer should address. It doesn't, for me, detract from it being a great camera that takes excellent photographs and it has far more megapixels than the newer models that are supposed to replace it..

My camera came with UK plug, so no problems there. The camera is good value for the money, compact and easy to use.

It’s a great little camera, very easy to use and find your way round. Takes very good pictures for a small camera and it’s zoom is really good too.

I bought this for my daughter and we are both really pleased with (and it's in her favourite colour, purple). I also managed to find a stylish case for this of similar design (and purple!) and a perfect fit too. The camera has plenty of features for a 12-year-old to make use of, without being over complicated. The picture quality is excellent as one would expect from the likes of Nikon. It's quite small and therefore easy to carry around.Thoroughly recommended.

Bought this for a trip to Orlando as small and compact with 20mp. Thought it would be ideal for my small bag. It's fine for daytime 'snapping' but really lacks when zooming in or needing the flash. Most pictures ended up blurry as camera didn't cope with this combo. There is no stabilisation function.

The perfect size for easy carrying. This camera has more than enough features and produces superb results. It is very handy to have as a lightweight inexpensive alternative to a heavy DSLR or Bridge Camera. Picture quality is very good with excellent colour rendering.

This was a refurbished item so I took a chance on it being OK. However it wasn't, the focus didn't work properly at all. I asked for a refund but the seller said it was under guarantee and to contact Nokia, which I did. The response was excellent. I sent the camera to them postage paid and received the camera back three days later. I expected them to say it was my fault and I wasn't using the camera properly but they overhauled it, put in a new lens set and updated the software and now it works pretty well. It is small and neat and easy to carry around with me. It loses a star as in the first place it should not have been faulty if it has been refurbished and secondly because the macro is not as good as other cameras I have, with more irritating settings - for example with my other cameras I just press macro for that option, this one I have to choose off or on every time I want to change the setting and that is the same for a number of options. Nevertheless the service has been quick and very good and the camera now focuses on scenes properly and takes generally good shots.

Very pleased with the camera, bought this as an Xmas present for my five year old daughter. It’s a great starter camera for her.

Cámara compacta con mucha calidad !! Es pequeña y manejable, hace muy buenas fotografías en exteriores de día, la grabación también es buena, calidad precio está muy bien !!

Je met 5 Etoiles, car c'est un très bon produit pour le pris de l'achat, je voulais un achat en urgence et peu cher pour faire des photos de plusieurs événement en attendant de pouvoir m'offrir une gamme un peu plus professionnelle ! Pourquoi 5 étoiles, parce qu'au pris de 100 euros sans promo, Il surprend par sa qualité de photos qui, faut le dire, sont excellente, le menu est simple et fonctionnelle, le zoom est sympas, mais tout de même à déconseiller au Max. le design est classe, il fait ce qu'il doit faire, Un appareil photo à pour but de prendre des images de qualité sans avoir besoins de beaucoup de gadgets, c'est ce qu'il fait, c'est déjà pas mal. :) Je le recommande :) Bonne Journée.
