Metra SSRLRS Ballistic Roller Vehicle Amplifier Noise Filter - Small Poly, Black

It works wonderfully. Obviously in tight spaces, you are limited, but manage to squeeze into my door panels for this specific use and worked. I had a wooden one before and the polyurethane style is not bad. Hard like the wood, but this one is a tad larger. Depending on application, might be good or bad. In my case, good. I used it for when I purchased  GTMat Supreme 110mil Automotive Sound Deadener 2 Rolls of 18"x32" Rolls Heat Insulation Road Noise Dampener  which worked great.

It's counterintuitive, but a narrow roller works better than a wider one. Maybe a wider roller would work better when applying laminate to large surface. But in an automobile, most of the surfaces to you'll be applying Dynamat or some other acoustic material will be uneven, so a narrower roller works best. Also, the neoprene roller works better than a rubber surface. I purchased this roller, as well as a wider rubber roller, but used this one exclusively. I liked the longer handle on this one, too.

I COULDNT be HAPPIER WITH THIS PRODUCT.I used it to lay my Raamat(raamat audio, best price, results, friendliest experience you will find for sound deadening IMO.)The only thing I did do is Paint it Flouresant green because I got so sick of misplacing it in my butchured new black truck.Every thing went smoothly and perfect. The truck is together and it is the quitest truck I've ridden in. All of the road/wind noise comes from the firewall, Ensolite will take care of that!!!!This is magical and really helps the install process. I put raamat and ensolite on floor, doors, roof, back wall. It is incredible.

This is a decent tool for the price. The handle is useful for smoothing mat in tight corners. The axle of the wheel did come loose at one point and I had to put it back together, hence the loss of 1 star.

Works great. The hardware that keeps the roller in is not top notch. I lost a nut or something somewhere and I now have stuff laying around holding the roller in. If you plan to keep this thing, do yourself a favor and loctite it in place.

must lock tight the bolt they should be longer once they loosen up a bit they can fall super fast

Good for the price but it did have some air bubbles in the roller on the surface, slightly inconsistant surface. Nothing I am worried as my hushmat will likely never be seen. I have no doubt it will get the job done.

Definitely can't put too much pressure on the roller Or it will start to bind up, but it got the job done with the 72sq ft dynamat application and another box of dynaliner. It's narrow so it really helps getting into hard to reach places.
