Small, powerful, easy to clean
Small but powerful and fairly quiet. Thing i like about it the most is how easy it is to clean. Idk why all these new plastic fans make it impossible to take the cover off to clean them. This one is made of metal and the cover can be removed with a few easily accessible screws

This fan really blows!
NOTE: I bought this fan as a warranteed, refurbished item for $10.00 less than the new item's sale price. It came in perfect working condition- not a scratch on it, had all original packaging & materials (including user-manual), so it was entirely indistinguishable from a brand-new product.REVIEW: This fan really blows!I am very pleased with this fan so far, based off of my initial, immediate use of it. It outputs very fast/strong airflow even when on the lower settings (especially when considering its small size), the 360 degrees swivel feature is great as it allows you to rotate the fan to face fully upwards, which circulates the air extremely effectively generally speaking & specifically in our master bedroom despite our ceiling & HVAC vents being almost 20 feet high in there- the highest power setting is like a hurricane made landfall in our bedroom. It operates almost silently on the lowest setting & with more, (yet tolerable) noise on medium power, but on the highest power setting, it is really loud. That's the single "mini-complaint" I have, however, I'd expect that to move so much air so quickly that you couldn't do it quietly. I'd wager given the price I paid that you could not find a better quality fan- maybe one of an equal quality, but not better. So given its massive air output coming from a unit so small (12" diameter), which operates with an expected/acceptable level of noise, but is built with solid metal construction & components, I'd highly recommend it for home use- especially if you're lucky enough to save about 25% off the Amazon Prime price by buying a refurbished unit.

Do not buy! Unfit product due to improper assembly at factory!
The media could not be loaded. Two pieces of unfit junk fans in a row!The first fan arrived with the fan blade assembly completely off the shaft and banging around loose inside the housing. The nut that was supposed to secure the blades to the shaft was found lying in the bottom of the box! Given all the scratches on the inside of the blade guards from the blades’ sharp edges, it appears that it left the factory in that condition. (See photos) I removed the front blade guard to mount the blades properly to the shaft, but the blades are so flimsy they were bent out of shape from all the bouncing around loose, creating unusable noise and vibration. Called Amazon and they shipped a replacement. The replacement fan arrived today. It “appeared” to be assembled properly, but it began rattling horribly as soon as I turned it on. Closer inspection revealed that the fastening nut on this one had not been tightened down either. It wasn’t even finger-tight! (See video). I pulled the front blade guard and tightened the nut, but again the blades appeared bent or malformed, thus out of balance, creating unacceptable noise and vibration even at low speed. After looking at the reviews, it appears other customers have received fans with loose or unattached blades too. I called Amazon again and reported the product as unfit for sale. Good grief, China! I know you’re not known for craftsmanship and quality control, but you can’t even manufacture and assemble a simple, functioning desk fan anymore? Amazon, you really need to start pulling junk like this off the market. Making customers deal with this sort of preventable nonsense is a waste of everyone’s time and money.

Good fan but not durable and I'm a very chill person around it
My old standard plastic fan fell and one of the blades broke off. It was a cheap fan, but it made a good amount of ambient noise and it was simple and low energy. I figured I could get another one for $20 but I found this fan for $35. It's a bit smaller, metal, and the plug has a third prong on it so you know it's using more energy than something with just 2. I have to say, it's quiet but not silent and the first setting generates a lot of air movement. I probably made a rash decision buying this since I was looking for something with more ambient noise, but after seeing a crappy plastic fan for $45 in CVS, I'm glad I got this one.EDIT: 19MAY18 - this fan broke. the nut/washer combo came apart and a piece is still inside. i'd have to unscrew the fan to get to it at this point which is practically gosch. i bought a Blizzard - it has a timer, which i thought was only for superstitious koreans but it's been very useful.EDIT: 09JUN18 - I gave the broken fan to a guy who graduated from a prestigious Armenian physics institute in the 70s. He offered to fix it and give it back but I told him I wanted him to repurpose the fan's motor for something cool. I think he thinks I see him as a soviet no matter how many times I play John Lennon's Imagine when we're driving together.
