The chalk is really easy to apply and leave a beautiful colour. I should state the my daughter is blonde, so not sure if it will still be so bright on darker hair. The chalk also seems to last quite a while, as we covered her whole head and the chalk looks barely used. Also really happy with the fact that it washed out after only one wash. My son was really happily red one day, and blue the next.

I think sprays might be better/quicker/more effective.Wetting hair first then colouring then drying was a faff, and the colour was quite muted.

Very hard to get a noticeable colour in blonde hair, darker hair I expect would be even more difficult. I got best results when putting hair in a pony tail and just drawing streaks onto the hair but even at that,not the best.
