Works on my daughter's hair
I use this to help my daughter's unruly fine hair. When she sleeps, she wakes up with wild hair and this brush is a fast way to straighten it in the mornings. It gets really hot and is somewhat difficult to use with the gloves. At 350 degrees, it mostly straightens (not perfectly) to a point her hair looks nice for school. It takes me about 10 minutes for shoulder length, fine hair on a 5 yo. I used it on mine, and it's not as effective (I have a lot of fine hair) as a straightener but helps.

Good
My 8 year old daughter has a full head of thick, wavy hair. Mornings are always a rush and she usually wants her hair straightened. This brush does the job in a quarter of the time a flat iron would. However, it does not give flat iron results. But she is fine with that, it controls frizz and helps keep to "poofiness" down (as my daughter would say). We started off using temp of 350 and have made our way to the max temp of 390 (I think it still needs to be a bit hotter for her hair). The only drawback is it takes FOREVER to heat up to 390. I'm not sure why it was advertised as 30s fast heating, it literally takes almost 10 minutes to heat up. I just have to remember to plug it in sooner.

Disappointed in brush
I got this a couple of days ago. I have long thick, coarse hair that is wavy. First of all it takes quite a while to get to the temp you want, and then once you start using it, the temp. Keeps dropping. I need to use the 390 and it will drop to 350 and you have to wait for it to go back up. The back of the brush gets very warm so you have to use the glove. I have used better brushes. Not sure I would buy again. UPdate: The company reached out to me, and is sending me another one to try. They also asked for my recommendation on how to improve it. I was impressed they took the time to care. Good customer service

This rips out & breaks hair!
I’m not sure why this has such high reviews. I have shoulder length blonde hair & I let it air dry. Then, I used this. It took longer to use this (40 minutes) then it would take to use a flat iron. The settings kept changing because it’s so easy to bump them while you’re trying to straighten your hair. The “lock” thing on the back was useless. It takes forever to heat up and I’m pretty sure it never got to the temp it said- just kept blinking at me. And, the worst part was that it kept catching on my hair and breaking it. I didn’t care about the price as much as how it would work, so I tried it. It sucked. Last night I went and bought the DryBar Brush Crush and it’s a completely different experience. It didn’t pull & I got through my hair in less than 10 minutes. Just goes to show that you get what you pay for. This thing is getting returned!

Waste of space- does not work!
This brush is a piece of garbage. It's supposed to get up to 390 degrees but the hottest it ever gets to is about 350 and it takes forever to get there. Once it gets there it doesn't stay there. I'll be doing my hair and realize it's not working because it dropped to 290. I'm upset with myself for missing the return window because this hunk of junk would absolutely be going back! I've already purchased a different brush for way cheaper that is about 100x better. Don't waste your money!

Magic Brush
Before purchasing I asked the question "Does this product work on African American hair?", to which I received the reply, "No, it doesn't". Having purchased product like this in the past, and knew that they didn't work on African American hair, I believed the response I received. However, that response just made me change the product that I purchased. I figured that if you are going to offer a lifetime warranty on your product, and you make the statement, "It works on all types of hair", then you're a company that has invested in research and have worked the kinks out of your product. So I brought the GeMoor Ionic Hair Straightening Brush! And, guess what? It works on African American hair. Love it!

Love it!
Ok, first of all, for the ladies who are wondering if this brush straightener gets hot enough to do our hair (African-American), YES IT DOES! Both of our parents had 3a, 3b hair. Of course our brother got their soft wavy hair and my sister and I got 4b, 4c hair. Our hair doesn't need really high heat, just about 320°-350°F and it'll get straight. When our hair is freshly washed/dried it's like a tight TWA. Once it's blow dried you can see some length. Now when I ran this brush straightener through a section of my hair, it instantly got straight. It's raining outside right now, and I know if I took these curlers out, and went on the porch for 15 minutes my hair would go back, you know! I also put a drop of hair protector on each section before running the brush through, but as far as this brush straightener doing its job, I'd give it an A+. 5 stars from me.

Overall good product
The brush is heavier then I thought it would be. It is a little hard on my head when I brush through my hair. Also, with the temp switch on the front of the handle, sometimes when brushing through my hair my hand would hit the temp button and change it. So I would have to change it back to what I had and wait for it to eat back up again. It didnt get my hair as straight as a straightener but it did get my natural wave out, which I liked.
