Bought this for my nephew he got a pretty nasty scar on his face and it seemed to help it really heal up. It’s not so noticeable anymore

This is amazing! I can't say I've tried too many scar creams but among the ones i have this is the only one that I ACTUALLY saw my scars reduce over time. I wish I had the pictures when I originally started but I don't. I did attach pictures of how my scars look now. For the picture where my hand is showing- this scar was bulging out, it looked like a little lump and now its completely smooth and theres no lump at all. Its also not as bright pink as before s you can see in the picture. For the picture with the long scar: it was a much darker brown color and it has visibly reduced (it was 5x darker than in the picture before i used mederma). Trust me if you are looking for something to reduce scars this is it but you HAVE to be consistent (i put it on two times a day for two months and counting). Also these scars were caused from deep cuts/ scratches and one other that was a burn (the scar that looks like a square- it was a burn from a trash can that was being used as a fire pit. It had a scab and everything and now you can barely see it ). I don't know if time alone healed my scars but i had them for a year and recently after using this cream i saw my scars reducing. Its worth a shot!Hope this helps! :)My friend also used mederma for a scar on her chest where she was shot by a shotgun in a hunting accident and she said she did see it get better but so far that scar looks like it will stay with her for life unfortunately.

I accidentally burnt myself with a steamer. I had second degree burn. It was horrible. I used this stuff for about 3 months. The tube so small so yes I had to order about 3 times. But it worked. Now I have a scar on my back from surgery and I’m going to try it out on that. Get it!!!

It arrived fine but I didn’t saw results

This stuff is awesome. Works great but need to use 3 to 4 times daily. Recommend.

I purchased this product based on glowing recommendations of coworkers. Per the package directions, the product requires up to 8 weeks for new scars or 3-6 months for old scars with a thrice daily application for it to work. I have mixed feelings about that as after that lengthy period of time I have found that my body does a pretty good job of healing itself and i am not always near a mirror of face wash 3 times per day for all those applications. Anyway, in my use of this product over the past two months twice per day (but sometimes only once per day), I have noticed some improvement in the color and look of my facial scar. However, I began treating the scar with hydrogen peroxide, neosporin, cocoa butter and my typical face wash, exfoliation, toner and lotion. (After all of that who knows what was actually making the difference!) But since adding the Mederma to the equation I must admit that my scar does seem to have started diminishing and fading more than it was doing without it...so I can't say anything bad about the product--no itching, flaking, acne flare ups or other adverse reactions either, which the skin on my face has been prone to in the past with unfamiliar products. But that's as helpful as anyone without such a complex daily regimine will find this review to be.

Apply nicely and creamy, nice smell

Very happy with it so far. I have post-acne scars all over my face, especially on the sides, so I've been applying this cream for about two weeks and I can see such an improvement! The blue/dark spots are getting lighter, especially for relatively new scars/spots. Also, I was concerned that it will make my face break out again since most of the creams (even acne creams) made my skin oily and caused break outs BUT not this cream!!! I'm just cleaning my face, applying Duac in the evening and then apply this cream. Soooo happy with it, considering that I spent so much money for more expensive stuff that didn't work. Although, I prefer organic stuff (this one has 3 types of paraben :( ), I think it is a good compromise considering that it works for me and hopefully in 1-2 months I'll be relatively scar-free. I don't believe in miracles, but measuring the input the output is pretty amazing.Note: it doesn't seem to have the same healing effect for old (more white but deep) scars but for new and relatively new scars it accelerates the healing process for me by 3-4 times (in 5-7 days I can barely see the dark spot for a small/med break out).
